currently own a E36 M3 Evolution GTii and have noticed the prices rise rapidly in the last 12 months.
looking around this forum it seems the E30 M3 Sport Evo and Z3 M Coupe are all rocketing in prices...
I am interested to hear current owners, previous owners and possible future owners opinion on this?
Do current owners still drive your cars?
If you own one of the cars mentioned above, please post a photo if possible
this is mine
Thanks
Mark

lol looks like blatant price ramping to me!!
But yes, you're stating something obvious - rare classics going up and bmw are no exception.
Z1, e30 m3, e46 csl, z3m, e36 m3 imola edition, these are the rare ones so they will definitely go up in value.
E36 M3s seem to be the most recent to have started flying up in price.

I've just got my GT2 Imola on the road after 4 years storage as I miss driving it, 2.5 of those 4 years have been taken up driving a CSL as a weekend toy..in summary both amazing cars the imola is a bit more involving to drive but the CSL isn't close to being matched for raw point to point pace. The appreciation of the CSL is an unexpected bonus to be honest and I assumed the imola prices had stabilised....perhaps they are increasing..mine isn't one for the purists with bilsteins, eibachs ans some decent brakes but it makes it what it should be.
I hope there on the up.... I have a M3 Evo Convertbile 1999 one owner done 65K with incredible service history, every invoice spent from new.... And I have a Z3 M Coupe 3 owner but the last one 12 years done 60K FSH both in dry storage now but I do hope to get them out in the spring next year....
Oh..... and there both Dakar Yellow......

Hope all good e36 m3s do, i've just had to sink a bloody ton into mine :s
Haha, me too. Kept a careful eye on costs and it's nearly 8 grand in the last 3yrs!Sadly since mine is now lovely, the mileage counts against me when it cones to resale. Pretty confident I'd get back more than I bought it for though.

I was posting re the title of the thread....! But yes the 840 is part of my collection....
You obviously have a soft spot for Dakar Yellow then! 3 good looking cars you have there.mboon said:
Not a bad collection of cars to have from a investiment point of view.
I took mine out for a blast at the weekend, I am amazed at how it pushes you back in the seat in 6th gear. The Evo is relentless once in 3rd and above
Oh yes, had an impromptu blast into Wales yesterday on the Llangydnir Road. Once it's warm it's an absolute beast. I wasn't enjoying the lack of traction though!I took mine out for a blast at the weekend, I am amazed at how it pushes you back in the seat in 6th gear. The Evo is relentless once in 3rd and above
Been looking through the adds and other than Targets cars (Cat C/D)theres hardly any Z3 M Coupes for sale at all.....! even the one at £44K has been sold.....! and the Dakar at £25,750 has gone.....! so it's going to push them up even more.....
and mines all tucked up for winter now.....
