Nice car! I had my F80 M3 treated with Gtechniq Crystal Serum in October of last year when it was brand new...
Tanzanite Blue isn't the easiest colour to keep clean, but the Crystal Serum helps considerably - dirt and other contaniments certainly don't stick as readily and a touchless wash with a pressure washer gets the car 90% clean in about 5 minutes, which is nice. The colour really sparkles when it's clean and the Crystal Serum makes the paint surface almost glass like and very shiny.
That looks lovely and Tanzanite is such a lovely colour I think(blue is my favourite colour though so I am biased!) I adore the M2 but wish it had more interior and exterior colour options though and it's the one thing that let's it down a little for me. Nice M2's chaps! Definitely the "real" M3 we should have had!
I also had the calipers & wheels coated in Gyeon Q2 ceramic too. They just hose off gleaming better than new even when covered in a months worth of brakedust - nothing sticks to them!
Well worth it if you like a clean car. But you have to maintain it yourself or your wasting your money - no lazy £5 hand car washes!

Seriously considering having the car treated with Gtechniq serum light, has anyone else had this treatment as I've heard some pretty good things about it?
I had my M6 done with the Gyeon Durabead Ceramic products (3 layer). It's same kind of thiing as Gtechniq stuff. I also had the calipers & wheels coated in Gyeon Q2 ceramic too. They just hose off gleaming better than new even when covered in a months worth of brakedust - nothing sticks to them!

Stunning M6, wont be taking the M2 anywhere near the lazy car wash. I also had the calipers & wheels coated in Gyeon Q2 ceramic too. They just hose off gleaming better than new even when covered in a months worth of brakedust - nothing sticks to them!

I had a pax lap in an m2 at Bedford and was pretty impressed with how the car handled. Seemed so balanced with very good rotation through the slow speed twistie sections!!!
With a proper set of suspension, I think this will become an absolute monster. Also, despite having a helmet on, you could hear the aggressive induction note as it climbed up the rave range.
If they do make a CSL version, it's s very good platform to work from - less weight, more power and more aggressive suspension and geo and it will be well up there amongst the greatest..
Very tempted by one tbh...i

That's good to hear, I had a CSL a couple of years ago and have an M2 on order, so I hope the M2 can compare...
Did you spec Manual or DCT?
DCT in line with the CSL , the downshifts make an awesome noise Did you spec Manual or DCT?

Mine went orange today (whatever that means) but on schedule for 30 Sept delivery, bang on promised date. No delays here
Same as me. In theory last week of September. Possibly earlier. In the end went for pretty much everything bar the sunroof (I think doesn't belong to a sports car and it's the tiny one anyways), electric seats as too heavy, and comfort access as I got bad experience with my M3 being stolen possibly because of it. Rest should all be ticked and am happy it now has idrive 5.0 with Apple car play that can be added which should make it a touch more desirable for resale than the first ones around.
DCT for town work, mineral grey for discretion. Will add m perf grills outside and shifter inside. Still think badly needs an alcantara dash and not the plasticky one but might try to live with it as it is. And ignore the plastic bits.
I hope I don't end up like alpine stars who sold his immediately. Although I have to agree few common cars excite me anymore. Once you have been treated to a GT3 and Speciale ownership all the rest feels bland and wobbly.
