I know it has no option but if you look on AUC website you will find that a decent spec one is over £40k+ with over 30k miles hence my interest.

If someone could please ring them to check if its still available and if it is then I'm definite that there is somethings with that car.
It was available for me to test drive today and only when I asked few question about accident repair and other few things they came back saying sorry its sold but still being advertised.
BMW will keep the car advertised on the AUC site until the car leaves the dealership. I bought an F80 M3 but only picked it up last weekend but actually did the deal 2 weeks before that. I couldn't pick it up for 2 weeks but they kept it advertised, salesman said they have to do this and said its quite annoying as they get calls on cars that have already sold.

My choice was between M5 Competition pack & F80 M3, coming from an E60 M5 which I've had almost 4 years. Not sure why people moan so much about the E60 M5, mine has been a joy to own. Chose the M3 in the end as I think it looks much better than the F10 M5 and running costs will be cheaper plus prefer the size, more nimble. If I had the money and space I would have all 3!

For all the cars I've bought I've bought them on the day and driven out with it.

That's fine for me. I do <5000 miles a year so keeping it for a few years will still see me well under the 60k cut-off.
Sorry, I meant your car was "a lot less than £40k" because at 37k it is quite high mileage.

I think it depends on the dealer. I bought mine from Park Lane and it was off the website by the time I'd got home from putting the deposit down. I didn't collect it until 2.5 weeks later.

I wasn't ready to take delivery of the car so put a deposit on it and picked it up 2 weeks later when I was ready for the car. I got them to put new MPSS on and get a few marks out in those 2 weeks.

Personally wouldn't touch eBay for buying cars.
I like AUC from main dealer or if a second car Autotrader. Never. Locked with eBay - had a bad experience with a 944.

Yes & well worth getting as it transforms the usability of the car - with adequate dust sheets, mine does everything from dump runs to every bit of sports kit imaginable.

yes I don't know why everyone doesn't spec them from new, much more of a game changer for the car than the surround camera (for example).

I've always thought it was because people just assume they're standard - they almost always are on cars below 'large saloon' level so it's not really something you ever think about.

I have to agree with everyone else though - they're a massive plus. Try getting rear tyres into an M5 without the split/fold rear seats laugh

Just had a chat with the online sales rep about this car and its still available !!

http://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/M/4.4-M5/Leeds/3696268-6...

I booked a test drive for last weekend but when I asked them about any accident repair or warranty work they came back saying its sold, even though its been in the market for well over months !!!!

So if anyone interested then make sure to ask all the right questions.

Wheels do not look good - are they standard? If a pay option they don't (from he pics nor have I seen any in the flesh just the usual style some black most silver).

They're actually the standard wheels - but you see so few of them because they're only 19" and most people ticked the 20" option. Supposedly better ride but they look total gash laugh
