I wonder if the wife would notice if I sold the house and bought that?

I thought the Lambo Grey or Imola Red would take some beating but that Avus Blue is incredible.
Already sold unfortunatley. I could have had this car had everything got sorted a week or so earlier.

That's not a issue you can just order one any colour you like.

BMW code is 312

as per the E36 GTs

As Timbuktu says, the colour changes a lot depending on light conditions, waxes and how clean the car is. Shifts from a deep glossy green to quite a bright, flat colour.

On first glance, I thought that final green looked the same as the one used by ACS for one of their E36 specials? But on checking, I'm not so sure.

Good point but reckon if you spec it (rather than buying one of the unregistered cars) you will have to pay close to the listed cost of the paint. rather than getting the £70k car at 18% ish discount.

A very good point! I reckon they would pull your pants down on a factory order, I did try to order a fashion grey M4 but the numbers were not favourable at all.

The mark-up on these 'individual' colours is obscene. Most cost little more that standard metallic/pearl colours for the paint and there is limited additional costs to paint them when done in batches.

Your last point is they key probably...GB probably got a decent desk from AG for ordering so many Individual cars.

Over 3k but the factory order price in the round wasn't as good as taking what they had in stock (but I guess that's to be expected)

A boggo spec + fashion grey was more than YMB + 5k of extras, so once I added those it got silly.

The first car pictured in this thread, Grigio Telestio in High Wycombe, has an on the road price of £69.7k

However this includes GAP insurance at £1k and SupaGuard at £500 - so take those off and this takes it down to £68.2k

My question is for those who have purchased an Individual colour car (most seem to have £10k plus of options and are for sale at £70k +)

How much discount do you reckon i should be aiming for realistically ?

Thanks,
Nick

I would be aiming for about 17-18% off with the dealer discount and contribution from BMW UK and FS

Very nice indeed, the showroom lights are one thing but that looks fantastic in the light.

Sandal Wakefield have got a Ferrari Red M3 and a Speed Yellow M4 in at the moment, both still for sale at some crazy prices biggrin Both look absolutely fantastic. They listed the paint though at somewhere between £2k and £3k, so I think dealers are just making this figure up as they see fit biggrin

Ah Mark how are you? My choice would be a fashion grey M3.

That same Fire Orange M3 drives around my town (same car from the photo). Looks the business in person. He’s got an M performance exhaust on it as well.

Messing (Brass) Metallic, one of my favourite colours, if not my favourite. It looks its best with a light cream leather trim. Photos never do the colour justice though.

Not sure how I feel about Mulberry.

I worked on this a couple of years ago when i worked for a well known specialist.

Stunning car! LOVED the interior.
