Getting a bit disheartened, can't find one clean enough for my tastes and price range. My 78k 2006 330d is better condition than every M3 I've looked at bar the very first one I viewed which I didn't buy because it was the first one id viewed and wanted to try dct/edc.
Have you had a look on m3 cutters site you're more likely to find an enthusiast owned car.
Thanks, went over there as a result of the Monte Carlo I viewed. Im not particularly after an enthusiast's car, just a super clean well maintained original. I'm not keen on DIY maintenance when it comes to buying a used car. I see a spotless engine bay and think problem being hidden or botch job. I see painted brush marks on the hubs and think hidden rust. The companies that make these cars know what they are doing (most of the time) in design and engineering terms. Got no issue with people editing for personal preference but don't be surprised when it ruins your resale value if you don't change it back.

If i ever buy a car from a dealer that has more than a thimble full of petrol in it I'd be surprised. My M3 came with enough fuel to go 16 miles. In Central London on a weekday afternoon in traffic, that was a bit bum tightening to find a petrol station before it ran out!

An anal plug /dildo can help you with that.

Even by your standards, this is pretty bloody useless

After spending weeks trying to find the perfect C63, I've just bought what is, for me, the perfect E92 M3 paperbag

2011, EDC, DCT, HK, Jerez Black over Fox Red.

So excited! Can't pick it up for a couple of weeks though.

That should lift the interior. All black doesn't do these any favours.

I'm chucking my E92 up for sale in the next week or so. 2010, Frozen Grey, Black Leather, Comp Pack, DCT, HK, 27k miles etc, most of the option boxes ticked aside from maybe some additional carbon fibre. Give me a shout offline if you are still looking and I'll get some pics across.

Just put down a deposit on a rather immaculate 2008 Interlagos Blue e92 Manual. Picking up Monday!

After setting sights on a certain things like EDC and newer iDrive, as with my previous car, it's better to go with condition, mileage and history. It's a stunning example with only 34k miles done and all BMW history bar 1 service. Got it for a great price from a dealer who also gave me a great price for mine so I'm very happy.

Finally I can recreate my storming victory over Audi R8 in Gran Turismo about 8 years ago.

Cool pic, I beat an Audi R8 but I was driving a Ferrari.

And what a small world and I'm 99% sure I've "met" this car, the registration in the ad was very familiar, the info on cazanna stacked up, was the running in service done at Sytner Cardiff at 1059 miles?

Thats cheating! Unless it was a pre 90s (non F40) one wink

The very same, stayed there with the first owner who had it most it's life then second owner for a shorter period also in Wales. Apart from a few more chips on the bonnet than I'd like it's really fantastic condition, easily on par with the best I've seen inside. Some cars asking for nearly 8k more were much worse condition (some damaged even with body work missing!). It was on sale at £25k on 27k miles just a year ago, getting it for under £20k at 34k miles is a bit of a steal I think and have some money left to make any changes or repairs if anything crop up. Also going to put it back on the BMW warranty scheme which this saving will cover. Ran all the diagnostics with the Carly I could to see if any hidden faults, all clear bar a couple of ones I see everytime such as problem with instrument cluster (never actually seen this manifested in the car however). Will also cover this years fuel bill increase now the oil burner is going the other way!

Yes, I saw the ad, it's an good price for low miles.
First owner, was Sytner Cardiff as a demo cos they only had it a few months. Original ad says as much.
Local owner, then, until about 27k miles. Switching between Sytner and what was Trainer (now Sytner Swansea) for servicing, I've a copy of the book up until
23,951 miles @ 22-10-15
I recall Sytner had it for sale as an Approved Used, for a few days then it appeared on the lot of BetterValueCars. that's where I met it.

They seemed to have it on sale for months, I kept seeing the ad on Autotrader, although I think another company on the same street tried to sell it.
I guess as traders they used it as miles increase by 1k. And I did think I saw it driven around that part Cardiff, test drives?

Says owner changed December 2016, so I guess after 5 months it was sold.
Don't know anymore of the history i.e. why s/he sold it so quickly or how it got to Kent.

But you should bring it back to Wales, it may get homesick, take it on our excellent country roads.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. Will drop you a PM for copies, more info the better. Good to know it was in BMW that long as they will have more internal records that could be dug out and requested. Should make it easier to get back on the extended warranty scheme also, something I'd like to do as much to keep the resale value up as an insurance policy on extremely expensive (yet unlikely) engine/drivetrain problems.

My partner's mum lives outside Swansea and we're in the Cotswolds, I'm sure it's going to have more than the occasional run in up the mountains of Abertawe, Pontardawe, Brecon etc and across the lovely roads leading into Wales the 'back way' from here through the Forest of Dean. We also have some nice roads around here too but not quite as dramatic scenery.

Have sent info.
You have the perfect combination of areas there. I go to FOD a lot, for walking and Swansea for the beaches. Great pubs in Cotwolds smile

Thanks man, and for the check! I recommend The Wheatsheaf in Northleach for a great meal.

Congratulations both. I picked up my Interlagos blue, manual about a month ago now. It's been great learning the car and is the antithesis of the M135i it replaces. In daily use, it gets to within 4 mpg of my M135i, at an average of 19mpg. To drive, it feels responsive and alive and I'm having to be far more careful mid-corner than in the M135i on wet b-roads. It's so much more rewarding though. smile

Well, mine has gone back after a week of ownership.

Pretty gutted. I'm going to give them a chance to repair it and if they mess me about I'll ask for a refund. I would rather keep the car though as it's the perfect specification that I wanted.

I think it's the hydro unit as I had the same issue on my 335i. I'll keep you posted!

Tenner says it's the throttle body actuators.
