I'm probably months behind the curve on this but really interested in the prospect of this car landing, just wondered what the dealer network were telling interested parties about the likelihood of this car being launched.

Generally are they creating waiting lists and are deposits being asked for?

What's the latest opinions on spec and price?

I've had a deposit down since last year, still no news on if it is actually happening though

I've had my name down Since January, but no need for a deposit until the car is officially announced.

I've had a deposit with a dealer since late last year. Whilst there is still no official word, there is significant information on some BMW forums which indicates that it is in the pipeline.
I've read that it will be announced late this year with orders being taken in January for late spring/early summer '18 delivery.

I've had a deposit one one since last year. In two minds if I'll go for it. Hooefully there will be a manual option
