If you can genuinely afford to blow away 36K , you are probably going to buy something nicer and more exotic than a Z4M -for that kind of money you can get into Lotus Evora or Nissan GTR territory
You cannot buy a Z4M new now and none will be with a screaming I6 N/A.

343bhp is plenty fast enough in a road car sure a M4 Coupe has a bunch load more but it simply doesn’t compare also no V8 Z4m
I always thought the interior was incredibly low rent in my Z4M and I only paid £15k at the time...I felt robbed at that money so I wouldn't pay anymore for one.

I wasn't initially impressed with the interior, but 11 years in and it's holding up beautifully. Everything works and looks like new.

There are a few rattles as with most convertibles, but they are lasting really well.

Every journey is still an event with that glorious motor too.

Has anyone had a full but and bolt restoration yet with one of these? Make it factory fresh and good for another 10 years

Probably well off being viable economically yet given the values and the cost of bmw parts.
Unless of course you don't care and just want to drive it!

I'm not sure what would be gained by that. There's no rust to speak of underneath, paintwork is still flawless. Compare that to an MX5 I had from new. After two years and no salt, it looked like a rust bucket underneath.

Spending money on replacement shocks (they don't last long, some are duff from the factory), springs, ,bushes and look after it smile

A friend has one that has been garaged from new, but is used. It's also pretty mint mechanically and cosmetically.

Great cars.

I think mine is lovely inside, but i have got the extended leather, I think the spec makes quite a difference to the feel of the interior.
At least it's proper leather unlike the fake rubbish in some of the newer models.

Interior is very sensitive to the hard trim choice. Mine is red leather with that carbon/cloth type stuff. Friend who works in the business had a first ride in it recently and the first thing he said was 'wow - this looks very fresh'.

I quite liked the red seats in mine because they were a little different...I still thought the interior was cheap and nasty overall though.

I agree with the comments about the interior. They can look cheap and rather basic although I think that was part of the Chris Bangle ethos.

There were plenty made, so no-one will need to rush to buy, take your time and pick a well specced one. Having said that, I saw mine advertised in the morning and drove a 140 mile round trip and bought it just after lunch!

There is a few threads running for the Z4 Coupe and Z4M. Looking at Autotrader it doesn't look as if many sell at all.

I'm curious to what they are selling for rather than the hopeful prices?

Possibly it’s wices asking husbands have you not sold that car? Yes luv I’ve advertised it see here - advert- just no interest as yet. Ie no intention of selling BUT if someone did well that’s the £ you’d let it go for

Not that I'm aware of. I've had it for just over three years and it came with that gear knob. I do know that a common upgrade is to fit a ZHP one which is shorter, illuminated, in leather and apparently better to use.

Same combination as my Z4 3.0si! Ruby black on the outside.

How do potential values of the 3.0si compare? I reckon they'll follow suit.

Not in my view. An M coupe or roadster is a special car with a special kind of engine. They are quite rare but not that unusual. There's no halo effect tothe cooking models which you don't have anything as such that shouts investment.
If the M cars get to 50k value then possibly a slight effect.

Some of the cheapest cars are up for sale at a dealers. It doesn't look if many(or any) are selling.

Tracking a few of the cars on Cazana and the trend doesn't really show values going up.

Does the E92 M3 V8 stick shift or DCT offer more to potential buyers? Or maybe that W203 C63 is alluring value.

That would only be for people looking to buy an AMG or M car and not really desire the model. I wouldn't say if you wanted a Z4M you'd compromise with a E92 M3 and vice versa.

The E92 M3 also appears to be falling in value. They looked solid for ages.

Maybe it's just the whole market is slowing down?
