headlight replacement?

One of the angel eye rings has gone on my M3 E46. Is it a big job or an entire new headlight unit? Or is it even worse and a bumper off job? I saw replacement halo rings for sale on ebay are these just cheap knock offs?

The E46 M3 never came with angel eyes from the factory, they will be aftermarket. just remove them.

They are aftermarket but suit the car.

They are an aftermarket addition. The headlights are easy to remove as are the lenses should you want to either replace the Angel Eyes or remove them.
