Sounds expensive OP.
I renewed on my E86 last month for just under £350 with Chris Knott (recommended broker on Z4forum), but they don't seem keen on major conurbations.
Get on the comparison web-sites.
I guess living in London gives a high price .I renewed on my E86 last month for just under £350 with Chris Knott (recommended broker on Z4forum), but they don't seem keen on major conurbations.

On my E46 M3 I am paying £380 fully comp. I think that is through Sky Insurance. I was meant to try for classic cover this time around. Hastings may be worth a shot.
Renewal for Mrs Langtounlad from Autonet seemed high, so off to the comparison websites.
A like for like quote was obtained (Quote Me Happy) at ~£100 less so asked Autonet if they could match / better the quote.
They couldn't so the business went to QMH.
What I couldn't understand was that we had used Autonet for 3 yrs and each time the actual policy was with Aviva.
The policy via QMH is also with Aviva!
All quote parameters the same.
Insurance is a funny market.
There is no reward for loyalty.
You've got to play the system as clearly the insurers are playing a game also.
