Was looking as though the first Customer cars were being pushed back to July/August, however i got the nod 3 weeks ago that the very first batch are still on schedule for April/May delivery. That nicely coincided with me cancelling my order so the next in line with Inchape will now get a pleasant surprise, getting their car 3-4 months earlier than expected.

Was only able to secure 9% discount on a purchase & sudo 11.5% on a lease/contract hire. Not sure anything better than that will arrive before late 2019 at the earliest, given it appears the next few build slots through the rest of 2018 & well into 2019 are taken & the waiting list is currently 12-18mths.

May differ depending on dealer build quota, but that's what Inchape & Bowker are quoting.

May live to regret cancelling my order, but timing not right & better perhaps waiting for the LCI variant, at which time some great deals 'may' become available.
Local dealer was quoting a December 2018 delivery to me earlier. Real shame.

E63S looking more and more tempting

Just not sure i could take an E Class AMG over an M5. No doubt they're much improved & almost if not as good as BMW's offering, but i just don't quite get the looks of the E Class & still have somewhat of a shouty image, as always been the 'loudest' of the crop.

Will possibly take a look & as per the F10 M5, Merc offered up some crazy deals IIRC on the previous E & C Class AMG's, which must have i assume lead BMW to do the same.

Drove my E63S for first time in snow today. Shocked at how good it was. Have an M5 on order so in time will be able to compare if anyone is interested, but genuinely impressed by how the E63 handled itself this morning on school run.....as well as all those hideous oversized tractors!!
My F10 was pretty good in the snow yesterday too wink It just depends what you're looking for laughdriving

Broadspeed are offering some huge discounts on the E63 and E63S -M6 too.

Huge discounts. For how long will the draw of the latest M5 (or any latest launch) outweigh big £ difference in the pocket, especially when all is said and done these cars are so similar for what they will be used

My F10 M5 has been awesome on winter tyres, particular in MDM mode.

Hard to resist a cheeky slide around roundabouts and kind of amusing when everyone else seems to be struggling to move.

Mine has options of approx £7k so without knowing how much Broadpseed could discount options including the must have Premium Pack I,d say I got a good deal straight from the dealer.

So which one are you buying ?

I took the wife’s car out (winter tyres on) no issue at all, then tried mine..... I couldn’t get off the drive!

Forgotten exactly what I paid a few months ago for the E63S, but whatever it was it an absolute bargain. Before this week I just thought it absolutely trounced my previous daily - M6GC - but having driven it a fair amount in this snow am amazed by its all round breadth. Stunning car. I don’t doubt there’s a nasty pill coming my way when it goes in a few months time but it’ll be the best value used car for someone then

They've been around for a number of years longer than say carwow as an example.

Just a broker you don't buy the car off them.
