Ah good, glad you spotted. Last I heard it was still in pieces at the recovering dealer in chester, but that was a month ago.

Yes, it's been on the Approved Used website for quite a while now with "awaiting images"...

P.s found a link to the original price list brochure if anyone’s interested...

https://www.autoevolution.com/pdf/auto/9a0bb3c14f7...

It’s always interesting the features owners (and dealers!) claim to be ‘expensive options’ when they’re actually standard hehe

Shocked at the cost of the B&O upgrade at £3,750 yikes - no wonder it’s so rare.

EDIT: seems like the link is a bit hit and miss - I've saved the PDF so if anyone wants it emailed, let me know.

Are you after a GC or would you settle on a Coupe?

I would let my 67 plate Coupe go for close to your budget

Placed a deposit on an M6GC yesterday.

Its silverstone 2 with black extended interior + a bunch of options including carbon ceramic brakes.

Looking forward to getting it and will post up pics when I have it.

congrats I'm sure you will love it look forward to the pics?

What options apart from the brakes? for mine the best is the cooled seats and the most pointless is the electric side and rear blinds, mine has sun protection glass too, but I wish it had a heated steering wheelrolleyes

I think the most pointless option is the Night Vision. Maybe if it displayed augmented reality in the HUD it would be worth it, but just a small display on the monitor doesn't really help much. I use my side and rear blinds quite a bit, much more convenient than having to manually pull them up as on my E34 and E39.

The big day is tomorrow smile I will post photos here when I get the car. I have never driven an M6GC, but having owned M cars in the past, I am sure it wont disappoint.

I wish it had heated steering wheel which it doesnt have, and I really want an MPE for the thing, they seem rare on the Gran Coupe.

The M Performance Exhaust (I assume that's what you mean by MPE) is a rebranded Akrapovic exhaust. The CP exhaust is pretty loud on cold start, the M Performance is much louder and probably does not go with lifestyle of most GC owners.

How the heck do you get the power down on these lol. Yes it has a brand new set of PS4s on it so it probably doesn't help matters until its bedded in.

I love it so much. The carbon ceramic brakes look so good in gold. I am so happy I chose this over the RS6 avant. I think its a much better car.

At temperatures of less than 10 degrees C traction will reduce quickly with the PS4s.

At temperatures above 10 degrees C you can get the traction control activating at 100 mph+. There is a good reason that the F80 M5 and M8 are 4 wheel drive.

Watch out when the CCB's are cold and a little wet, for example when it's raining on the motorway and you have not applied the brakes for more than a few minutes. It can take a moment for the brakes to work which can result in a requirement for replacement trousers.

Enjoy the car, they are epic.
