you sure? Its registered after 2017: https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax-rate-tables

So there is 155 per year, plus the >40k second payment for first 5years of £490, so a total of £645 for first 5 years dropping to £155 per year from 2022/3 as i read it..

How do you know its the second-last made Richardm5? Interesting info, wonder if the last one is on the road or kept somewhere

I have the build data for all the RHD M6 GC's, but actually I made a mistake, there is another block of VINs that I did not spot, so there are another 49 built after it. Last one built was G990562.

Oh wow thats cool. Do you work for a dealer to get that data? Curious to know how you even got the VIN, the reg is not visible, unless it was by colour and date in your data..

I just used the on line tools to grab the data for each VIN, there are not that may RHD M6 GC's!

The Ferrari red car was easy to find, it's the only one.

The VIN's are issued in blocks of sequential numbers, for a low production car like the M6 GC the blocks are a few hundred VINs or so. If you know the VIN of one car then you can find all the cars in that block. The BMW AUC site used to give the VIN on the cars listed, so it was easy to find the blocks, they stopped doing that a few years ago so it's harder now.

I just have the build details based on chassis number. I don't have a way to access service history from a registration number.

A 17 plate car will have the electronic log book, you should be able to pull up it's service history from that on the iDrive screen.

That’s is almost correct.

My M6 was Nov 17, so tax was £150ish + luxury tax (list above £40k) of about £350 for 5 years, so total was about £500 ( not 645). Numbers not exact as they rose a bit annually

Bargain considering the car, same to tax as my 520d!

There are at least two, I have one, well I did until last week. I have just p/exd it for an M5, I imagine that at some stage this week, or next, those looking will see if for sale on a forecourt in Essex via the largest UK BMW franchise.
