I've given up googling how to access the relay board behind the fuse panel which is inside the glovebox! Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

I’ve only ever accessed it by feel unfortunately.
You need to do it from the passenger footwell. Remove the cabin filter and the glovebox and you should be able to get to it.

No problem smile

Yeah to access it properly the fuse box will need to come out. I just wasn’t up to it..lol

I had a couple of strange issues when I had my Z4M and an auto electrician removed the fuse box and cleaned all the contacts which resolved the random problems with the secondary air pump not coming on and a few other error codes.
