Mine runs on 19s.

The ride is very supple and while there may be some extra roll and give in the thicker tyre walls, the quality of the in car is better. That said, I love the 30 Jahre alloys and would put a set on in summertime.

The m5 has some weaknesses - you can't lean on it stupidly and it does its best work above 4000rpm for me as it chases the red line. You need to be considered in your throttle use. But once you adjust to this the car really flow with the car. I drive I sport plus, steering in sport and dampers in comfort.

Had it 2 years, have done 19.7 mpg over 18k miles. Really genuinely will keep if for another 2'years at least. The engine noise is great but it's not a bellowy v8 - like an rs6 or and amg. But so what.

It's a great thing. Find one with good kit. The service pack is a must too. You will love it. Everyone who has been in my car has been blown away by it. It still get thumbs up by other pistonheads when they see it.
