I have an F10M5 with comfort access and you can set the doors to lock when you drive off and they stay locked unless you cut the engine or press the button on the centre console to unlock. Anyone walking up to the car and pulling the door handle doesn’t get in....
This is good to know. I'm currently looking for a used 440i and most, if not all, of the ones specced how I want also have comfort access, which I don't want. I'm 5'7" and 10st, so the majority of adequately formed men, and possibly a few women too, would have little trouble dragging me out of a car, so it's good to know that locking the car from the inside overcomes the possibility of keyless entry from the outside.

Since I lasted posted in this thread I had my keys changed for the motion sensing ones. After 60 seconds they stop transmitting, hopefully rendering the relay attack useless.

is there a link to the keys?

for the F10 M5 its very easy to disable the comfort access - just unplug the connectors in the door handles

I quite like the feature but getting the new fix sorted by the local dealer was a bit time consuming.

I don't have a link for the keys but they were the easy part to obtain (disabling the 2 old ones and coding the 2 new ones). What took ages was getting the software in the car updated, so many revisits to the dealer! On the plus side, they comp'd the next major service (in my F85).

There is a thread here which started me off on the hunt for the security fix for comfort access:
