If someone is after an AUC M2 with a manual box then they'd better like LB blue... Only 6 cars available, only one colour.

The number of grey or black manual AUC cars that have come up for sale this year so far appears very very low and a lot of the cars coming up for sale now are > 30k miles, which is understandable given they could be up to six years old now but I was really hoping to have found a sub 20k mile grey car this year by now but it’s looking unlikely.

Interestingly, an alpine white car with ref ‘YL65’ came up for sale with 9k miles a month or so ago. That was the car that featured in Car Throttle’s review except then it had the carbon winglets, spoilers and M Performance exhaust but they’d been removed as the car didn’t have these when up for sale.

Is there a point at which N55 M2s will not be available through the approved used network (i.e either age or mileage related)? I’m aware you see the odd Z4M or E9X M3 but not often.

As long as the mileage is low you will still see them on AUC, it is when they have high miles on them that they can't sell them because they can't offer a warranty I believe.

I've just recently part exchanged a 2017 Merc GLC350d in lovely condition at the main dealer, but because it had 103k miles on it Merc couldn't sell it, because they couldn't put a warranty on it so it was sent to the auctions instead.

It will be a while. There are still occasionally E92 M3 popping up and they are OLD!

My mineral grey manual LCI with all of the M Performance bits albeit 39k miles, can be had if you give me an offer I can’t refuse 😏

My 66 plate manual LBB pre-LCI M2 with 53k miles sold within 2 weeks.

Not sure exactly what the dealer who were acting as broker sold it for, but i'm getting £28k back. I guess £30k is what they got.

They still seem popular!
