Why have a lower spec car on the basis that it's "not mine anyway"? Will you not clean it for 2 years either? wink
I think because it’s 100% going back I’d be not likely to option it too much, currently I’ve got a leased Golf GTi with zero options. It’s strangely refreshing.

As for not cleaning it in 2 years, that’s harsh. I cleaned mine last month, for the first time in nearly 20 months..... To be fair though I do look after it.

We've got a mk7.5 gti, you're right it needs no options really as its pretty loaded standard. We love ours.

M2c in bmw style doesnt even get heated seats... Or an armrest for the kids. ..frown

I've kept my m2c order pretty light on options though as that is the point of the car to me.

Just been offered M2 Comp at £57,500 DCT with comfort and plus pack and heated steering wheel, WiFi, sunroof
GFV of £30,000
4years @ 8000 miles/yr
Doesn’t seem bad that. GFV looks pretty good compared to other offers on here

I am, ordered mine in hockenheim silver with the blue stitching and it will arrive in May/June next year to replace the outgoing Golf R Estate. Got a good deal with Vehicles 4 Business. I know of a couple of others that have ordered as well. Looking forward to using a BMW for the first time!

Edit - Lol - just realised you are also leasing one! biggrin

Haha yes me again! When is your golf going back? My 4C is here until May and the supplying dealer said latest they can deliver the M2 is mid April. Fancy swapping build slots lol

Well, we are both going with V4B so maybe they are telling me porkies if we've ordered at the same time. My Golf goes back in June so final payment is May so earliest I want delivery is May as I don't want to be paying for 2 cars at the same time.

I’ve emailed the supplying dealer which is Rybrook Shrewsbury asking for VIN so I can track it but nothing yet as it’s not in the system. You may be lucky enough to have a later slot!

Wow - what is it with all these April / May + delivery dates?

Ordered mine on 8th Sept and it's due here in a couple of weeks (not lease this time)

Personally I could never wait that 6 months and in the world of contract hire / leasing something better will come along before then to tempt you I'm sure... wink

I've had several quotes from V4B over the years, they seem a reasonable outfit.

They quoted the M2C PCH for me, but I just couldn't go DCT after suffering one in my M6 for 3 years, no lease deals on manuals so I had to buy one instead!

So after 6 years of leasing I'm getting back into buying as the right deals just haven't been there this time.

Reason for the delay is my Golf R doesn't go back until June and I don't think another offer like this will come along in the meantime. I've never seen an M car lease deal this good for the past 4-5 years.

Oh I see you wanted that delay, I misunderstood thinking they had offered it that way..

Doesn't hurt to get one ordered , you can always drop out if you like with just a small deposit lost.

Yep it's the best M deal I've seen for a few years like you say. They must have some number of DCT cars to shift thus the zero deals on manual cars.

Just go to to drive an M2 comp alongside an M4 and M4 Competition. Better drivers car of the three imo. Knights in Stoke have 10 available now if anybody is after one soonish.

Knights is my local dealer.

When I was pricing up an m2c they were not giving any discount "not allowed by BMW uk" yeah right.

So I went elsewhere.

Probably why they're stuck with 10 now. Might be a good time to try...

Is that quote from a BMW dealer? I didn't think individual dealers were able to alter GFV's (thought they were all set by BMWFS?) and £30k after 4 years seems a lot higher than any other figure I've seen.....

One of the leasing contacts I have said companies like BMW and Merc etc don't want to have their cars on sale for big discounts so they allow discounting only if sold on finance so it doesn't look obvious what they have done. I've seen 30% off C Class Mercs before...

Quite right they don't want to "damage the brand".

Leasing / contract hire isn't a retail product either so they can hide big discounts in there too.

Terrible pic, but this my car that’s finally arrived. Ordered mid August I think.

Don’t officially colect until Wednesday, so it’s still full of plastic wrapping (and desperately needs a clean too!), but I’m a happy boy now ??
