I know it's not an M2, but this should add a little to your excitement...Manual

In a sea of Hockenheim silver, i think sunset is an excellent choice ;-)

My new M2 Comp has heated seats and they are listed as an option at no cost.
Also my dealer told me that the M2C will end production July to limit numbers and help exclusivity. Anyone else heard this ?
Not heard that tbh but would be good if it does. Also my dealer told me that the M2C will end production July to limit numbers and help exclusivity. Anyone else heard this ?
Is the new 1 / 2 series not being released towards the later part of the year? Perhaps that's the reason why.
One thing is for sure, BMW don't give a single f*ck about "helping exclusivity".

They mess around with "build slots" all the time, it is just another thing that they put out to try and panic people into a decision. The dealer might be correct that they have a limited number of slots remaining in their allocation for cars built to order. That doesn't mean there won't be a ton of cars built for other dealers or a whole load built and pushed out as pre-regs.

They’re in the business of selling cars to make money for themselves though, rather than for speculators. One thing is for sure, BMW don't give a single f*ck about "helping exclusivity".

Agree, great car. Been quoted £340 for 1200 mile service!.... anyone been offered a more reasonable deal for what amounts to an oil change ?. Scandalous...
Don't they release the full engine power at that time too? I heard they / all M cars run reduced power until the first run in service, could be BS though TX.

Best just shop around. I'd expect around the £200 mark personally. My dealer offers it as a complimentary service on all their new M cars.
Did the same on my M4 for me too. Thought that was a nice touch.

Any in depth owner reviews on the new Comp yet?
Keen to hear feedback both good and bad
I'm loving mine. Just had the RIS yesterday so looking forward to opening it up a little more now. Keen to hear feedback both good and bad
Compared to my M4 CP I think I actually prefer it. Feels more sure footed and is just the right size.
Only negative is the fuel tank is tiny. Can't be more than 50L. I'm at the petrol station twice per week.
Mid to low 20s is the realistic mpg if your driving it under mixed conditions and not booting it everywhere. Don't suppose you buy these cars for mpg anyway so I just try and forget about it.
Had tons of positive comments on it with many agreeing they prefer it to the M4.
Ride is good, handling is great, exhaust is quite muted with the OPFs but I'll be getting an aftermarket system in the future.
All in all I'm really enjoying it.

IIRC the fuel tank is 52L, which is tight for the 235/240 and really tight for the N55 M2, but the S55 is so much thirstier...
Might be on full chat, but I had little difference between my M140 and M3 on commuting and general driving. On the motorway, managed 40mpg for a good run in the M3, but that was driving like my balls were underneath the throttle. On track it managed about 8...

M2 Comp at 75mph is returning barely 30mpg
(just my experience - not all will be the same of course!)
