Just collected mine after I have had the front PPF'ed - very happy with the colour choice!

My M2C gets delivered a week on Thursday, what’s the deal with running in? Obviously I’m aware of the service but is there any official do’s and dont’s for the running in period?
Don't thrash it, vary your driving style and keep it below 5000rpm for the first 1200 miles.
This and don't labour the engine - revs are fine! and also much better than chugging away at low revs. Also vary the revs i.e. don't use cruise control as this can cause bore glazing apparently.

Just as a side note - has anyone managed to fit 4 alloy wheels with tyres in the back of their M2 Comp - can they all just fit on the back seat?

Have you tried to drop the back seats, two levers in the boot. Only discovered this after 6 months ownership myself!

In a M Lite 2er I have safely transported 4 wheels and tyres.

Not on the backseats upright though as strapping them in would be a nightmare, too dangerous I think.

I've got a full set of PS4S in the back seat of my M2 right now!
One front and one rear behind my seat, one front and one rear behind the passenger seat. I'm not the tallest though, if you're tall i'd suggest one behind you and one in the boot, and then two behind the front passenger.

Cheers for this - probably go for the latter scenerio as I am over 6ft, just have to be careful not to dent the panels when trying to lift the wheels and tyres into the car!

Are the brakes really worth a £5k premium?
Can get cars without for £45 /£46k...

I don't think the option cost to spec them is that much, more like 2.5k... however, there is certainly a credible argument that the significant additional unsprung weight and future consumables costs they bring might not be benefits.

Do look fantastic 'though so on my list although may not be a deal breaker.

But they’re heavier than the standard brakes, which I don’t think a lot of people realise.

That aside, they certainly look better than the awful blue.
I’ll be looking to get mine painted at some point.
