Anyone over 6'2? Any issues with sitting in one with non sunroof but electric seats?

Let me fail to help you. I am only 6ft1 and manual seats in an original car. Plenty of spare headroom, enough for a helmet on. I would be surprised if you had an issue.

Being equally unhelpful, I had the M3 with electric seats and it was fine for me with helmet on (I'm 6').

Three weeks ago I was happy with my 996.Trawling through some of the car forums , like I do, I saw the low interest rate deals that are on at the moment for the M2 comp. So long story short , test drive yesterday and collect the car next Saturday laugh
My wife thinks I am mad spending so much money but the car just blew me away. Real poise, so planted and the power. My 996 is no slouch but the M2 comp is on another level .Cannot wait for next weekend driving

I've just done the same thing. Was looking for an e golf for my wife, bought a blue M2 Comp for me instead biggrin

Crazy cheap deals on them at the moment, although not many left now.

How crazy cheap are they? Did a little google but couldn't find anything.

Lots of the cars that the dealers have in stock have DCT, Plus pack and comfort pack. These are more like £620ish deposit and £620 a month.

Given that our interest rates are probably the same (1.9%) I suppose it all depends on discount (£7500 on a £58K car), balloon payment and mileage allowance.

£11k discount, but obviously BMW discounting their inflated rrp's isn't new biggrin.

Hmmm whats the deal if you want a manual?

I was offered a good deal on a new car with TRL. Comp with plus pack and comfort pack for £49995. £10k deposit,35 months of £407. Problem for me was the balloon payment of £28700. I am hoping to keep this car for a little while so that figure didn't work for me. To be fair to TRL they did try to reduce the GFV but it meant a longer term and much higher monthly costs. So I decided to buy a 6 month old car with the same spec. This gave me figures that I was happy with. Probably not a good a deal on a brand new car but it worked for me. The dealer told me they only have 1 brand new Comp left and that is the last 1 of their years allocation. I think these cars will become a bit scarce towards the end of this year.
My test drive was amusing. Because of covid test drives are unaccompanied. Because it is an M car they have to follow you in another car. The salesman was in another M2 but didn't fancy a spirited drive. I was back at the garage about 10 minutes before him laugh

This may have improved recently but I got £7.4k discount for a manual as a fresh build. GFV suffers compared to DCTs so your monthlies are higher but it depends what you end game is. I would expect this to improve over time as dealers move to shifting stock cars given build slots are said to be almost at an end, but stock manuals are not common.

Would you mind giving details on that £11K deal, I have plenty of friends who would buy in to that?
