Collecting my new M2 comp on Tuesday.
Managed to secure the last black M2 comp with M2 pack, comfort pack, DCT and Mperformance brakes, I had previously secured a car in the same colour and Spec however the Sales Manager who was supposed to transfer the car to my supplying dealer decided to register the car as a demonstrator after I had placed a deposit and secured BMW finance on the car !!
Managed to get it sorted then? Did I see your post on another forum? What a pain. Went to another dealer in the end?Managed to secure the last black M2 comp with M2 pack, comfort pack, DCT and Mperformance brakes, I had previously secured a car in the same colour and Spec however the Sales Manager who was supposed to transfer the car to my supplying dealer decided to register the car as a demonstrator after I had placed a deposit and secured BMW finance on the car !!
That was the only car I would have considered. Ideal spec. Stick some gold 763M on it and bam!

This has just turned up locally here in Northern Ireland.

Seems a great price for a low miles, main dealer car?

When I was buying in late October, the OTR retail prices being quoted from multiple dealers for cars with DCT and both packs were around £58-£59k - with around a £9k discount this was about £49-50k OTR price - I think the cheapest I found was £48.5k but the car wasn't ideal so I didn't go for it.
£44k would be a £14-15k discount, which I'm not sure was ever possible - there was mention of an £11k discount at some point ?

I was posting from memory on a Friday night after a few sherries.
My point was principally that the dealer £37k 18 plate seemed sensible money.
I (and others) spammed the thread plenty of times in Sept/Oct with the various deals available so they’re there for all to see if people want to scroll back a few pages.

I bought mine in June 2019, and at the time BMW AUC was awash with pre reg cars with little or no miles on them.£44k would be a £14-15k discount, which I'm not sure was ever possible - there was mention of an £11k discount at some point ?
Not many in the colour combo I wanted, but loads at the £45 - £50k price bracket.
Even at that, I still managed another grand off a £45k car with a train ticket included to get to Newcastle to pick the car up.

No buying from the same dealer,
Salesman from sister branch up north messaged me to advise that the car in my ideal spec which was previously sold was now available.
Advised my dealer to jump on it and secure the car for me.
After a day or so of negotiations with rge assistance of BMW UK they managed to secure the car for me.
It was an extremely rocky road, debating whether I should have just gone for a GR Yaris circuit pack instead. I’ve got one being delivered mid Jan,

The GFV on mine (Sept 20) after 48 months @8k pa is c.£24k. I bought it at c.£44k with a retail of c.£55k
So with a simplistic straight line depreciation, it'll be £39k, £34k, £29k, £24k over the four years. On a '68 plate, you'll be at somewhere between £34k-£38k trade depending on the precise date and mileage. £37k doesn't sound silly from a good dealer with a warranty.

Is your a DCT if so it wouldn’t have the comfort pack or M2 pack?
£44k was an absolute bargain especially with 2.9% APR
DCt, both packs, speed display, wireless charging etc
The only advantage on the current new cars is the 2.9% finance offer

I had previously done a deal on a new black car with exact kt the same specification for £47890. £1k more but brand new unregistered with 2.9% APR which then works our cheaper than the preregistered car unless you buy it fir cash.dotty said:
Run in service for me on Wednesday. £360 for the pleasure.
I wanted to book in with dick Lovett (hungerford) as they are the cheapest I have found around me (£300) but they have no availability until new year.
Weirdly the M2 doesn't seem to register the RIS as mine (350 miles on clock) just has reminders for the first service in about 18k miles! The M5C did have a RIS reminder.I wanted to book in with dick Lovett (hungerford) as they are the cheapest I have found around me (£300) but they have no availability until new year.

£360 sounds very expensive for RIS. I had mine done at Cooper Reading yesterday. They quoted £325 to start but I managed to get a good chunk off that as I bought the car from them.I wanted to book in with dick Lovett (hungerford) as they are the cheapest I have found around me (£300) but they have no availability until new year.
