Congrats!
Looks like the building site that is Doncaster where I got mine. Were you dealing with Chris?
It is Not Chris, Howard did the deal. Bless them, they are rushed off their feet. First car I rejected, it wasn’t right as the interior did not match the build sheet and I don’t want that unless a very substantial discount. But then this one came up last week and it’s all good. I hate paying the advertised price but low mileage prereg ones seem to go very quickly at the moment. I lost out on two others. Very happy with it. Just drove it for 140miles and it’s really good. Congratulations! These are fantastic value at the moment, not much comes close for the money. Where abouts down south?
Outer metropolitan area Just north of London. I was set on getting winter tyres but actually in efficient and comfort mode it is absolutely fine.

I bought similar 18 months ago - no miles pre reg (both packs, speed limit display) for a very large discount over a factory order.Seemed a no brainer.
Can’t believe I still have it, as normally would’ve changed by now.
That colour certainly sparkles with a bit of polish.
Yes stunning. I love the golden tones to the metallic flake. And also that the silver itself has a grey tint to it. Driving past other light silver cars today made the other cars look like they have a blue hue to the silver.
My wife is very pleased with it; my eldest daughter put her claim on it once we want something else Although her version would then be slammed, spoiler Ed and tuned

I was one of three people picking up theirs the morning I got mine. One had come down from Glasgow, only 80 miles away for me though. Doncaster do good deals. As you say, it's a bit wham bam thank you mam, but then it's basically click and collect and I don't need a coffee

I wanted manual but all had been built by the time I caught on so had to take the DCT to get my spec. Shame but tbf it feels a really good box a bit like my old RS3 e.g. rapid changes certainly vs the 5 which was not slurry at all just not as good as the DCT.
TX.
Edit - the manuals are so rare hardly any around for some reason!
Thanks!TX.

Just want to check these are the right ones everyone bangs on about as being the best for the rears?

They're about £217 fitted at Costco, but with another £50 off if you buy 2 and £100 off if you buy 4.

Cheers. Had a sidewall puncture on one of my rears so I'm thinking of replacing both rears with the above and keeping the pss on the front.. would that cause any issues?
I have had the MPSS on the front and MP4s on the rears of my M2C with no issues. I find it the best balance overall.Ran the same on my M4 CP.

What sort of % discount if you don't mind me asking? Just so I can torture or congratulate myself as appropriate!Seemed a no brainer.
Don’t think anyone ever paid list though...

It’s made a massive difference - it sounds much better.
It’s only 1db louder than the Milltek race system I already had (which wasn’t massively louder than stock) but the whole tone has changed for the better.
Today I had it in Sport+ and auto and when I pulled away there was a lot of rasp in the first two gears.
Not sure if everyone will like that, but I don’t mind it.
Changing with the paddles though seemed to eradicate the rasp.
Cold start in Sport + is pretty impressive if you don’t have neighbours and an early morning start!
Driving in efficient mode it’s absolutely as quiet as stock - at 70/80 mph no issues at all.
No resonance or drone at any speed in any driving mode.
Normal driving in efficient opens the valves at 4K revs and again it sounds brilliant.
I don’t know what the cost will be, but in all honesty if anyone was thinking of buying an exhaust anyway and wants to keep the opf’s in place, then they may as well buy one of these.
I’ll caveat that I have absolutely no connection with Milltek, other than I approached them to try the equal length pipe and they agreed to give it a go with my car.
Was this an M2 comp with the GPF? Without the ASD on they seem so quiet, does this improve the sound in the cabin by much? It’s only 1db louder than the Milltek race system I already had (which wasn’t massively louder than stock) but the whole tone has changed for the better.

Yes - you can see the GPF / OPF just in front of the brace on the bottom pic. With the ASD disabled you can hear the real noise from the exhaust.
The engine is nothing special of note, sound wise.
