So a discount of roughly 3%? Suspect if you wait a few months it will be rather more than that, especially if dealers already have new cars unsold sitting in their showrooms!

What are people getting on GFV for these?

Trying to get one through work, but the GFV isnt as good after 4yrs as it was on the original M2 - and these cost more!
I got about £1500 off my order, total price is £54,030.01. GFV is £23,844.07

This is for 10k miles over 4 years.

Spec is Manual, Plus pack, Comfort pack. Think I chose basically every option bar big brakes and DCT

I got 4% off otr. But this was only 1 dealer from 12 offering more than nothing or 0.5% or so, max.

Some dealers offering with just slots left for delivery in june 2019 FFS!

Otr with discount 49k (kept options down to basics as in the end you don't really need them) gfv 24k after 4y 10k. Which is good gfv i think, barely 50% loss after 4years.

Also from others it shows the options don't add any to gfv, which we kind of knew anyway...

My old 335i had gfv of 12k aftwr 3years on 48 list!

Appears the GFV is a fair bit (£3k?) lower than people were being quoted on the original M2.

Surprised at that.

It's still a pretty good 4 year figure for what it a mass produced car. I'm sure nice clean manual cars will hold up even better privately.

Maybe they've had their fingers burned with M2 "real" values and decided to drop M2C accordingly?

Who knows how their system works it out!

58k? that's some M2 - did it have every option plus brakes and DCT?

There was a period with the M2 LCi where the dealers were all quoting build slots six months down the line, but pre-reg cars were starting to leak out onto the market.

It is a good way to maintain the margin when the sales guys can't actually book the build in and it helps them make sure that people who are determined to get their own specification end up paying more for the car.

Ordered my M2C today. Should arrive in December. Can’t wait.

To the guys who have already taken delivery. How has your insurance been? I have an M2 and looks like the M2C is 5 insurance brackets higher, which is a bit surprising.

Nice. It might be sooner.

I ordered mine on 8th Sept for Nov/Dec delivery, but it's being built this week and will be ready for collection w/c 29th Oct!

7 weeks from order to collection. Not bad. .

That's very good! Assume you just happened to land on a dealer who had a slot available which was due to go into production shortly but was still spec changeable?

I test drove this car in the middle of September. Hockenheim Silver really is very difficult to capture (and I'm not sure if I like it), but on my monitor at least this looks to me how it looks from some angles smile

As a previous 1M owner I can say that I really liked the drive of the M2 Competition - felt like a lithe little thing.

Maybe but they didn't mention that and their offer was based on 12 week late Nov / Dec delivery.

It was only this weekend he emailed me to say it had come forward into build this week. Maybe they had a cancellation or something?

Who knows, but I'm happy...

mikeN54, you called it.

There was a cancellation so my slot has been brought forward. It’s now looking like first week of Nov for delivery. Will find out a more exact date this week.

Hi guys - anybody going for the M2 Competition PCH? 2 years for 12.5k (total) and 8k miles per year seemed pretty cheap?

I would have, infact i nearly did, but this campaign is DCT only and my main reason for going M2 is compact size and MANUAL box so no good...

I love PCH, get a good deal and you can't beat it. My outgoing M6GC is PCH. If you want a DCT M2C then these current batch of 3rd party PCH offers are a great deal. The total for 2 years is less than 25% of list price which is a marker of a pretty good deal. Not via BMW thought they are over £100/m more.

...so for the first time in 6 years I'm buying, and just to get a manual....

Good point - I think DCT is ok with me and I don't mind zero options if it's not my car anyway,

BMW are actually matching the offer too!

Even thr 3rd party leases will still be from BMW financial services same as any dealer. And the car will come from BMW of course.

It would be "your car" in all but title. You have exclusive use of it. These days unless you buy cash, the car belongs to the lender until you pay it all off, be it PCP, HP, secured loan or lease. Except with lease you always give it back.

Why have a lower spec car on the basis that it's "not mine anyway"? Will you not clean it for 2 years either? wink

I've had 3 leases and when it's on the drive it feels no different to any other finance method.

No road tax to pay either!
