As title..... looks reasonably priced and I assume would be good for the sub 60k warranty,

If anyone can advise or if they know the car any information would be appreciated.

It looks a nice car, apart from the ttty grille. Do the normal checks, especially with BMW, and if it stacks up, have a deal.

Seems a few of the details were wrong , I saw a 6.5 0 to 60 , this the first M5 diesel ? winkwink plus it’s lost it’s waistline measure. The M5 diet , anyone?
Been untaxed /MOT’d a while. So where’s it been?
Maybe HPI see if it’s been on private plates and trawl the net for signs of it being abused. Or any M5 forums.
12/12 says 50,000 to next front brakes , that’s some babying done / expected.

Only if the service history is spot on. It hasn't been taxed since January and there are gaps between MOTs greater than 12 months - odds are that some of the time based servicing such as brake fluid changes and vehicle inspections may have been missed. You might be able to take our the BMW warranty but if you go to make a claim they will probably scrutinise the service history and gaps, even if unrelated, could result in denial of a claim.

Feel free to post any questions if you go to view the car. They are fab machines but do have some weak spots. If you haven't already done so read the buyer's guide that's a sticky in this subforum.

Not had an MOT since April 2018, Tax expired in January. They've had it a long time, probably a reason it isn't selling. Here's an old eBay ad for it, I personally would be weary of buying it.

Have you looked up the price of warranty now its near £150 per month for something with sub 60k miles and thats with £250 excess. New engine will cost you around 6k ontop of the warranty too

In my Honest opinion I would not touch it, the V10 has so many underlying problems waiting in the wings, if you must have one, look for super low miles and fullest history. With a warantee.

Completely wrong.

History doesn't mean its ok. It could of been ragged from cold.

Just budget 2k for rod bearings, £450 for actuators and you're good to go

I wouldn't have it because they can't seem to shift it, the lack of MOT says something about it too.

My first call would be to the seller, asking why there are the gaps in the MOT and tax history, so as to remove the guesswork. There ay be a reasonable explanation.
