Morning all, looking at the collective experts on here to give some thoughts on the car below which I have on my shortlist of M5’s. Budget is up to £75,000 and there are a lot of options out there. Screen price just been dropped by £500 but I appreciate that’s pretty meaningless. Also not sure where I would pitch the price if I decide to go and negotiate ?Many thanks

I'm a bit late to this but would say that's a high mileage for one of these as a used BMW dealer car. Most likely will need a new set of rear tyres quite soon as well.
I'd be looking at going in around 65k and leave it on the table as they will reject it outright initially. No harm popping back in after a couple of weeks with a slightly nudged up price if you are keen. It is without doubt the best colour combo. Also, are you looking to part ex as this often isn't helpful.
Let us know how you get on.

Going to wait until December most likely as I have a business that is in the process of being sold, unless it fooks up . Have the AT extension and prices are dropping every two weeks on a lot of M5 at main dealers, just can’t seem to shift them. Have 14 saved so watching with interest and in no rush. Love the colour combo but not hugely bothered if black interior or different exterior. Even if that one sells there are plenty of other and that is my advantage really as I can walk away.

Had the car since new (April 2021) & now not doing anywhere near the amount of driving i used to, so the M5 spends most of its time in Airport car parks
Time to downsize for a while
Do you know Motorway offered me LESS than you want for yours for my 1700 mile brand new ultimate mint........................ what are these people thinking that I must be desperate for money. Morons.Time to downsize for a while
PS) was not selling just seeing what they offer.

Totally bonkers. Had a few trade bids not a million miles off my asking price & the only Ultimate Edition on the BMW network is in a standard colour with similar miles/age, but up for just over £75k, so i feel mine's priced about right.PS) was not selling just seeing what they offer.

Yea it looks about right, mine is here for a few years yet I've only done 1900 miles so far....lol.Hi wondering if anyone can help, i’m looking at a M5 CP 19 Reg which has the carbon ceramic disks, it however has 65,000 miles on it, should i be worried as from what i have heard/read they are very expensive to replace if needed. It is a 1 owner vehicle and i’m not sure if it has been used on track days, is they any way to tell how much life they is left on them? The reg is MV19 B*U incase it’s been anyone’s on here. Thanks

^^ only way to tell for sure is to weigh the discs. Afaik the pads wear on the discs so they get lighter over time. TX.

See below Hi all, new to the thread. Had many BMWs over the years and I drive around 30k miles a year so change cars regularly. I bought a 22 M5 comp in tanzanite with 1500 miles on the clock from my local dealer and did around 12k in it. Stunning and absolutely loved it, decided I needed carbon ceramic brakes in my life and traded it for another M5 comp (2023) in the same colour with the ultimate pack and 1400 miles on the clock. Brakes are fantastic (not too worried about all the other toys), BUT, it feels slower…….I’ve only covered another 1500 miles in it and appreciate it’s still got to loosen up, but swear it doesn’t accelerate like my last one. Anyone other serial M5 owners noticed this? Im going to get it dyno’d to satisfy my paranoia as I’d if had to guess it feels like a car with 500-550 bhp. I know some cars vary, but this feels different.
Also, has anyone had the ceramic brake option and noticed it ‘tracks’ across undulations a little more? I first put it down to alignment but now wondering if it’s the lower weight of the ceramic discs at each corner?

An F90 M5C that feels less than ballistic, and even more so with carbon ceramic brakes that makes it lighter still and less rotational mass? Something is not right, and having a dyno run is in order to verify that it is in the usual 650+ bhp bracket when testedAlso, has anyone had the ceramic brake option and noticed it ‘tracks’ across undulations a little more? Hello,
Just wondering if any recommendations of aftermarket brake pads that has less chance of squeezing? My 19 plate base M5 is squeezing badly and unbearable, so I’m thinking of going for a pair of aftermarket pads or maybe OEM (heard there’s change of component?)? Any advise would be much appreciated.
Also when changing pads is it worth to find a garage with access to write it to iDrive?

So I've had 3 F90's, one of which was pre-LCI, all competition models and all from new, and I swear that around the 6-8k mark they loosen up and become ballistic. I certainly wouldn't worry as it's just changing from one that's properly loosened up to a new engine that still slightly tight, as it should be. I was just reflecting on this last week as my current car turned 8k and you can feel the difference. Also, has anyone had the ceramic brake option and noticed it ‘tracks’ across undulations a little more? One last thing, anyone noticed a ‘fishy’ smell if you restart the car from warm in an enclosed space……? I realise that sounds suspect but noticed on a couple of 5 series even before my M5 so it’s not someone I’ve annoyed putting fish oil in the vents!!!
