My local dealer has an ex-demonstrator in a stunning individual sky blue (fully loaded) list £124k available for £87k. Anyone got any thoughts on whether that’s a decent deal? I’m looking to change my 540 and have been tempted by the M5 for a couple of years. Thanks all.
That’s what I paid for a 6 month old car with everything other than the carbon brakes. So pretty decent I would say, you can probably get a bit more off that as well.I know some members mentioned this a while back but is anyone else having issues with insurance?
I paid £1k last year because I was going through a situation on another car so I just did this insurance with no NCB hence it being a bit high (would have been £700 ish with full 28 years NCB). Got my renewal NVB back and just received my notice which was £2700 so checked the usual comparison sites and the lowest I can get is £1850 with a £1500 excess and a little black box (I am in my 50's ffs) . Most of the others are £2200+

yup... mine was quoted up nearly 200%... it's a joke. Makes me feel slightly better that it’s not just me. Wonder what’s going on?
Profit gain across the insurance industry is my guess because it’s happening across a range of other domestic ‘must have’ suppliers. I have lost a combined £50k on the 2 I’ve had….. apparently I am incapable of learning a lesson!

I was toying with selling mine for a while but it’s dumped so much value over 18 months I’m going to keep it and run it for another 3 years.
Big service coming up in 2 weeks which I’ve managed to get down to £974.

Quick question on the LCI version. I had a 2022 and it had the laser lights (imo the only real must have option!) with the blue inserts and it had the black surround on the rear lights. I have been looking at a 2020 LCI with the laser lights that doesn’t have either those things? Was there a further update in 2020 at some point?
