LCI owners - hoping you can help with 2 minor questions.
1. Does gesture control actually exist on our cars ? Can’t seem to find it in the idrive menu
2. Screen Mirroring - have you managed to get this working with an iPhone ?

Been a long time since I posted on this thread as I sold my M5 last year. Just wanted some advice:

I have a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 s that I took off my comp to put winter tyres on and then sold it with those winter tyres tyres on. They have between 5.5 - 6 ish mm left in them and they are all in good condition. I was going to put them on eBay, anyone have any idea on what they might be worth?

200 per pair all day long. 250 per pair if you photograph well and they have zero defects

Having mine detailed and ceramic coated at the moment. £674 and a 5 year warranty. Local guy (Worcestershire) who has detailed and coated my cars for years. Pick it up tomorrow.

Is it that good then? I have been thinking about some protection for new M5, I was disappointed with my previous M5 about how damaged the paint was on the bonnet, but also on front wing just behind the arches and front doors.

Ceramic won’t solve that. You need the front PPF’d

I think the price is about average dependent on location. My paintwork was covered in small circular scratches. The detailing will sort that and give it a mirror finish. The ceramic coating then protects it so long as you wash it by hand. It come up like new for years to come after a quick wash. No polishing either.

Ceramic coating helps against stone chips but doesn’t protect. As said above, PPF is required for that. But it would still need to be detailed beforehand.

I’ll post up a couple of pics later when pick it up.

Just paid £950 for a set of 4 MPS4S * (BMW M Spec) from TyreLeader for my F90 LCi.

So glad to get the P-Zeros off the car & first impressions are the MPS4S are significantly quieter.
