Received this from Stevenage BMW. I'm assuming it also counts towards the competition pack as they've been offering £20k off that for ages.

Suspect we'll see 0% APR in Q3.

Actually the extra £5k does not count against the Comp car, but is an extra incentive on stock non comp cars, some of which have been sitting at the docks for the best part of 12 months. I.e. There is now £10k more support on non comp stock cars. The inventory isn’t great unless you want white or accept compromised spec. You will be able to push to £30k discount as that’s how much I was offered on a Don Grey with comfort pack/sports exhaust. A lot of new car for £65k! Against what BMW expected, everybody is wanting the Comp cars given the negligible difference in list price.
In the end I factory ordered a Comp car for Sep as that’s what I wanted, along with the new os 7 dash/screens on new builds.

Did you get a big discount (as above) on a factory order? My assumption was big discounts only to get shot of existing stock?

TX.

As much as I love the comp pack, 65k for a brand new fully loaded non comp M5 is quite a bargain!

Seems like a buyer's market at the moment, a lot of high performance cars don't seem to be selling well in the current market.

Where can you order a M5 costing £105K and pay £65K?, I would love to know.
Unless it's stock.

I was referring to garystoybox's post, he was apparently offered one at 65k, which I can well believe given the discounts available.

M5 with comfort pack and premium pack is 95k list, so 30k off that is 65k. Ok it's technically not "fully loaded" as it doesn't have ceramics, but very high spec.

Haha well if I came across as angry then I certainly didn't mean to! And I see it as friendly banter from m'learned friend JMBMWM5.

If you think this thread is bad, you should check out some of the McLaren depreciation ones smile

Fair enough. I was coming from the fake AMG one which has some anger within it

On the deal it's tempting but I'd never have the money to drive it.

£21k off for factory build on Comp car with premium and comfort packs and a couple of other things. The same deal on stock Comp cars so no real incentive, which is daft given how many are sitting around. There were pages of the things but no additional support. Surely only a matter of weeks before they’ve got to offer something, particularly with the new live cockpit professional and bigger centre screen on the new builds?

I know of a stock M5 Non Comp with M-Sport Exhaust, Driving Assistant Plus, Premium Package and Comfort Package and finished in Grigio Telesto Pearl Individual Paint with Tartufo Merino Leather for £77,500. That's a saving of Just over £26k. List price with OTR charges would've been £103,645

Damn that is a great colour! There was a M3 CS at the BMW drivers day recently in that colour which looked awesome.

TX.

Edit - not so keen on the brown leather though redface

Apologies and a bit of topic but I’ve only got a day or two before the build on M5 comp is locked and I’m debating driving assistant plus?
I don’t really do much Motorway driving or commuting so wondering if just a gimmick. Also when I tried in an X5 I found the way the lane assist kept grabbing the wheel to be a bit disconcerting.
Has anybody got this/any thoughts feedback on its value?
Cheers

I have, use it and love it but I guess each to their own.

For me it was an option I had to have and I try to use it as often as I can.

That said I have no idea if it has any value on a used car?

Its a very clever feature, and you can turn parts of the system off, like the lane assist etc. But if you want to turn parts off, its not worth having in the first place. I never ever actually used mine, apart from switching it on now and then for a bit of fun, and to see if it was still working lol laughlaugh
