Yes that's the one I bought. Only had the plus pack though, not the other one, so no leccy seats. I thought it was a great price considering the age and spec.
Prices on these seem to vary wildly. Anything between £46k and £56k from main dealers, all in different specs, different ages, different mileage. And the strange thing is it isn't always the older base models with higher miles with the lower prices. It seems almost random.
I asked why mine was cheap after the deal was done. Salesman said they had another waiting in line and they weren't allowed to get hold of it till this one was gone. It helped I did the deal on month end day too. I didn't push on the price as I didn't think they'd budge and I didn't want to miss it, but I did get my part ex increased and the APR lowered.

Yes that’s right, only important plus pack. And TBH if the right comfort pack options are added separately ie no comfort access or seats and has the electric mirrors then that’s most important to me.
Bought my M135i from them some years back.
I bought mine, comfort pack, plus pack, sunroof, manual and orange paint and apple car play. Think it was £54k
I love mine. Much better then I though it was going to be and night and day better then my friends m2 which I disliked. Doesn’t sound as good, but will swap the exhaust out and soon it’s going in for some carbon and the acs suspension so it should be even better

orrespondents seem to have gone off-thread somewhat, so to bring it back to the original question that was raised, I've been fortunate enough to own an E46 M3 (manual, convertible) and an E92 M3 (also manual, convertible). The latter, 2011 model, was going to be a "keeper" having bought it in 2015 with only 10K miles. Sadly, it was written off in February, after losing a fight with some Cornish granite that ripped out its sump. .
I also sold my GT3 in March and have just taken delivery of a new M2C, manual. It's just about to have its 1200 mile RIS.
So far, limited to 5K revs, it's proving to be a delight and I'm looking forward to some serious playtime once I have the whole rev range open to me. It's taken awhile to adjust to the lack of engine braking through the gears that the awesome V8 provided but the instant torque, lacking in the V8, I can see is going to become very addictive. I've likened the E92 to a muscle-bound weightlifter; the M2C to an 100m athlete
I fitted an Eisenmann sports exhaust to the E92 to enhance the V8 sounds and must admit the noises made by the M2C, thanks to the particulate filter are somewhat less impressive, muted by comparison - maybe a Remus system will follow? The standard brakes are more than sufficient, I don't intend to "track" this car. I like the cabin/seats and have paid Royal Steering Wheels near Aylesbury £170 to cover the steering wheel in alcantara rather than £1,200 to BMW for a sports wheel! Some carbon extras from SSDD Motorsports will be fitted this week. Looking forward to the future with the M2C

Thanks for your post, very interesting & please either update or start a new post if you don’t mind on your journey with the M2C. I also sold my GT3 in March and have just taken delivery of a new M2C, manual. It's just about to have its 1200 mile RIS.

I’ve recently bought a LCI E92 with the possible intention of consolidating into a M2C in a few years.
Cheers
I took delivery recently after coming from several E generation Mcars;its my first foray in to the new turbo era and it is quite an eye opener in terms of how extreme it is out of the box compared to the older stuff.
First off It is a very engaging car at normal speeds, surprisingly so and put simply the combination of short wheelbase, solid mounted axles and big torque make it like nothing else I've driven.
Very focused and specialised car.
Can't wait till it's run in!

After test driving the M2C DCT last weekend I can definitely see why so many Z4M owners have jumped to it, it's got quite a raw personality even with the DCT that seems pretty close to the Z4M I currently have. Deeply impressed and based on the comments here November really can't come fast enough!
Looking HS with both packs.
Cheers for all the feedback!

Worth noting that it seems a lot of ex-Z4MC/R owners end up in F-Type's (myself included) and I'm hearing lots of positive noise about the new Supra driving like a more refined/ modern day Z4MC...if badge snobbery isn't an issue for you, both are worth considering.
I came from a Z4M/M140i weekend/weekday package and combined both into the M2C. Never considered the Supra (or non S55 M2) - the engine in the Supra is nowhere near special enough although was fine as a daily in the M140i. Billy_Whizzzz said:

Sounds to me like a good way to still get enjoy the essence of both cars nice one. I’m no bmw expert or fan boy so the engine not being ‘M’ in my LCI wasn’t a deal breaker for me but if you are bmw man I can see it may bother you.
I like the noise of my LCI so it ticks the boxes for me.
May do the swich in a couple of years as the spread will narrow but for now I’m v pleased with what I have.
I also considered the Alfa QF as it’s a stunning car but price wise if I was going to spend that much I’d have questioned myself when the M2C can be had for some 25k cheaper if you use an online broker.
Mine was in for its RIS service on Friday at Dick Lovett in Hungerford and they looked after me as normal. I spent some time discussing after market exhaust options and they were very open to me changing things if I wanted to. They even went as far as talking to the Warranty dept and stipulated that unless an issue was caused due to poor installation then everything - other than the after market part itself would continue to be covered in the normal manner. They have several customers who have already gone that route and they are all very happy with the results.
The drive home after the service was an entertaining one over 18 miles of mostly B roads - narrow and twisty with low visibility. The car has too much go if that's possible. The 5k I could use before was more than adequate for those roads. However when things open up a bit, my word it goes very nicely indeed. It's the first car I've had in a while where I will take it off the drive purely for a good run around the block - because I can.

Out of interest, I know the actual seats are the same but is there any height difference between manual and electric seats?
I believe the electric seats are able to go lower because the motors take up less room than the manual mechanism - so if you're particularly tall (or long in the body at least) that may be something to bear in mind.Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
