I know of a dealer with about half a dozen 19-Registered, delivery mileage, M4 Competition Package Coupes with Ultimate Package that are pre-registered at £47,000. This sounds like tremendous value!?

It sounds like exactly what they are actually worth and you will still lose a good chunk.

I think I could probably guess the answer to this... but do any of them have a manual gearbox?

I recently purchased a pre reg M240 Cab that retail would have been £47k for £31k. Dealer said new car sales are dead and they were pre reg everything just to hit BMW targets. This was a very large BMW chain. There are big discounts to be had.

I'm just dipping my toe into the M world, this sounds very interesting if you'd be willing to share the details?

Yup.

I spent a month trying to make it work, ended up looking at C63’s as the residuals are so much better which makes the PCP route very affordable even with a high interest rate. Ended up going for something completely different debt free but don’t let the massive discounts fool you.

This dealer has 6 ultimate pack M4’s, imagine how many other dealers have he same amount. Then think of how many were sold when the 0% offers were on along with big discounts. 2 years from now, you’ll struggle to sell as there will be so many.

You’re better off finding a lightly used year old model for 40k or less If you can. As soon as you drive one of those off the forecourt, you’ve instantly lost 8k. I say this as when I was looking, I found a lot of private sellers trying to shift their M4’s for at least 5k more than the lesser mile dealer offered ones.

I just wish I could buy one and not care about all that frown

My local dealer doing the same - fully loaded pre-reg M4s for c.£50K. It made me wonder why you'd buy an M2.

Stratstone are offering new unregistered (but built and stored) M4 competitions for £4K deposit and £599 a month.

However, when I looked into it this money was only on cars with no options at all, which meant most were more expensive.

I’m going to hold out and see what I can get a new m340i for I think.

The only sensible way of doing this is a
PCP deal, not necessarily from BMW Finance. That way, you know exactly what you’re going to lose, and you have a guaranteed exit at the end.

The thing is, though, there are so many of these things around, why would you want something so common?

I’ve never seen so many M-cars on forecourts as there are now.

It’s also very noticeable that footfall in dealerships is dramatically down-can you imagine how boring it would be to work in that environment??

An M4 ultimate edition for £47k, that’s downright scary as someone who’s on their 3rd M3/4 of this generation.

The ultimate pack is around £11k as far as I know, and my M4CS was not too far off twice that cost frown

Amazing value. When I bought mine June 2018 CP pre-reg in December for 47k without the ultimate pack the garage offered a further 5k if I took the PCP finance, paid it off straight away and still got the 5k off. Great cars.

Sorry, so does that mean it was up for £52k and you got it for £47k or it was £47k and you got it for £42k? Cheers.

Who is this? I might as well sell my used car and get in one of the new ones. Resets my mileage and warranty...

What discount are they going to have to give these 75 M4 heritage editions ?? Just don't see how they fit in with all this other unsold M4 stock.

I suspect these are a set of M4s pre-registered by BMW UK and then sold to dealers through a BMW closed auction or directly from BMW UK.
Bit of a billy bargain for anyone looking for an M4 CP...certainly a car I'd buy if in the market for one.
