What sort of mpg are people getting from these? Both my x3m40i and giulia qv averaging around 25/26 - is the x3m markedly worse?

I got 14 litres/100 km = 20 mpg in mine, somewhat worse than the 21.7 mpg I got in the QV (albeit manual)

My F90 M5 LCI gives 23/25 MPG, I test drove the X3M for a day and got 18/20 MPG, and I was not driving Hard.
Very poor IMO.

Indeed, same as me, my F90 M5 is significantly more economical, with 22-24 mpg average.

I have only done 500 miles in mine and only done short trips and i am doing about 18mpg. to be honest i do not care that much the only thing that annoys me slightly is seeing 280mile range when i have a full tank. Still love the car and very happy with it.

Think this feedback has made my decision easier, will probably go F Pace SVR (likely not the face lift - although still number crunching)

Test drove both today and liked both but find the Jag more of an event and to feel a little more special. Only really put off by the mpg and it doesn’t sound like the x3m is really any better (maybe a bit on a longer journey).

You really wanna spend £60-70k on a car with extremely iffy reliability problems?

If you really wanted the SVR experience i would look at first gen rrs svr’s reliability might still be an issue but at least you will get the amazing soundtrack.

Before I got my X3M I took a length a test drive of the F Pace SVR, I made the right choice going for the X3M. The only part that I wish I could carry over would be the exhaust sound.

Lasted about 30 seconds in my SVR test drive... coming out of the dealership, both myself and my wife couldn’t tolerate the cheap sounding indicators. No way could I live with that racket; how did they ever get signed off?. Talk about the most unexpected things which impact buying decisions.....

Don’t worry in the X3M you can’t hear anything above the tyre roar!

It is more the suspension "boom" on particular road surfaces that is very noisy

Where ever it comes from I found it particularly loud.
Good car though especially with the deals going.

So my run in service is fast approaching any idea of how much they are going to sting me for?

I was curious because the previous owner of my X5M dad it done just before I bought it.
This is what my dealer is crrently quoting:
Running In Service

Price calculated at checkout.

Original Price

£263.67

Offer Price

Be interesting to see if the X3M is much different.

is that a Sytner garage? the problem i had on my old BMW was i would book online through the bmw site it would give me a price and when i got to the dealer and presented with the invoice it was always alot more than quoted online.

from looking around i get the impression i won't get much change out of £400 quid.

I am waiting for confirmation of a built slot mid may but have just been told that car will not be delivered to dealer end of September (worst case) now due to chip shortages? Seems like a long time to wait, interested to see if anyone is experiencing the same?

Kudos

Anyone had their first scheduled (2yr) oil service yet? Can you share costs?
Mine saying it’s need done in next 1000 miles and local dealer is known to be pricey
