Thanks. Perhaps mine isn’t so bad after all. I could drive 20 mins and save a further £30 or so

Yeah i actually thought Cov Sytner was reasonable after the £515 they charged me for the run in service. Clearly not!

What’s the view on indie oil change? Thing to do or stick with authorised dealer?

Personally if it is under warranty i would stick with the authorised and if its on PCP i would stick with authorised through the agreement.

Yeah, I think you confirmed my thinking. Friend with a PCP Merc C63 just went for an indie, but for the extra few quid I’ll probably go with the dealer to keep it right long term

Resurrecting this thread.

Mine is due to come to end of the deal in Nov (small deposit, ~£530/month, 2.9% APR). What are/have people done with their cars to date? Kept them? Moved to something else? Dealer have offered me a "competitive" 9.9% APR to refinance

I've a balloon of £36k left to pay, seeing same age for ~£46k on AT.

I'm tempted by the upcoming X1M 135 but really not sure what I'm going to do. There's nothing particularly in BMW that tickles my fancy.

Luke.

Yeah, don't do that.

Same engine as in the M135i and Mini Clubman S.

Quite a come down.

I of course should have said X1 M35i xDrive. Primarily not for me, the good lady - I'll go and buy something nice instead. I had priced up a "decent" spec X1 but the price came in more than the M35i which seems well loaded

I have got mine on a deal to 2025 but might refinance if APR is still high, did flirt with LCI but not different enough to warrant a change and a new X3 is due in 2024.

I called in to dealer this week. If I put a deposit down on something else, they will extend current finance deal with BMW finance until new car comes. So seems easy way to extend my 2.9% Apr
