Reset condition service indicator - the other way!

Hi all,

I recently (Wednesday) had an oil service on my car, and just looked today and noticed they'd reset "all" the service indicators, not just the oil... Now it's a bit annoying as I've generally found them pretty useful, esp for MOT and inspections.

Is there anyway to un-reset them back to their previous values?

Yes but you will need someone with access to Ista (bmw diagnosis software)

Mot can be changed on the dash or idrive tho

OK, will ask them! How do you change the MOT date as that would be useful... I have the later iDrive if that makes a difference?

Go to the menu with all the service info and if u click on statutory inspection it should allow you to change date
