If buying used outside of BMW and the car is still under manufactures warranty is it still easy to extend it?

Yes, same outcome. Providing BMW know you own the car they will write to you 1 month before the end of the warranty with a range of (Mondial/Allianz underwritten) options to extend.

Go for a M4CP. A very good daily driver, it'll commute comfortably, then do the batst crazy thing when needed. I've had a bunch of very nice cars over the years, many more 'exotic' than this, but this is up there as one of my favourites.

BTW - my Mrs is 5'2'' and drives my '68 plate M4CP with no problems whatsoever.

Why is "has the RIS been done and does it matter if not" even a thing? Why would any owner not carry out the RIS?!
