Hi all,

Desperately seeking some advice/assistance for my wifes 2009 E70.

we bought it a few weeks ago - it had right and left fog light warnings displayed so asked garage to rectify.

It did have led bulbs fitted in the fogs so standard bulbs were fitted, however the following warnings till display:

"two stage brake light left faulty"
"two stage brake light right faulty"
"front right foglight failure"
"front left foglight failure"
"Dipped beam left failure"
"Dipped beam right failure"

Headlights are standard halogen, not Xenons.

All bulbs have been replaced & tested by the garage, however - warnings still displayed.

Their next course of action is the replace the FRM.

Has anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions!!!

It does sound like a FRM issue, unfortunately. If everything works, you can have the bulb check function coded out. But it will be up to you to "old school" check the lights, which I'm sure you'll be capable of. I make this comment as the majority of people seem to be incapable of doing this, needing the professional knowledge of an MOT tester to tell them.

That’s great, thank you. I’d be more than happy for coding out if it’s not solved.

I’m still amazed how often you see MOT failures on bulbs!!!!
