I didn't think there were any specific dates but it was based on conditions. Might be specific to particular Cantons in CH perhaps?
So its only law in Austria, not Switzerland, my mistake. Lowland CH is cold and wet generally ... somewhere I'd want to be on winter tyres when driving anything.

Normally service plans go with the car don't they?

I don't get the value of the service plan at that price unless you do loads of miles.

I assume RIS at £350, small at £500 tops, big at £1,000 and perhaps 2 brake fluids at £75. That's £2k. Or have they boosted their service prices accordingly?

That’s what I’m trying to suss out before choosing the option.

What’s it work out monthly adding it to the PCP?

Looks like RIS is £444. small £356, big £800 but then again "check service" at 3y and 5y at £100 a pop and transfer box service at £145 (no idea when due).

The brake fluid is £188 each rofl

Add standard scope at £33 (probably 4 times).

Total £2450 or so assuming 1 transfer box service. But then again, the services should get cheaper after 3 years.

The BF is a total piss take and the "check service" is pretty much overlapping the MOT.

Bear in mind that you will also get a third oil service before the 62.5k limit as long as you are doing more than about 12k per year.

The residual value is also raised if you are buying through BMW FS, in which case it can become a no brainer..

Made a configuration and asked for a quote from a Belgian dealer: expected delivery September 2025… Ridiculous

Any dealer will take your deposit, when you would receive a car is a different matter.

4wd does not really make it go around corners any better than a 2wd, it is good for traction which just means you might arrive at the fateful corner quicker.

Ok, maybe a bit of torque vectoring might help but the contact patch is what holds you on around a corner.
I think a lot of people underestimate how quickly things can go wrong in a 500hp car , xdrive is not a magic wand

Yeah even in the heavier X3M it will get the backend out in its safest traction mode.

Yes, I'm not entirely sure of the point that poster is trying to make.

Unless you get a cancelled slot or a dealer pre-order it does look like it's going be towards the end of next year if you want one in the UK.

For my M240 i waited 2/3 weeks for a 72 reg even though i put my plate on it, just helps resale value.

Might as well wait a week, that's not long given how long you've probably waited to get to this point!

Mine arrived at the dealer yesterday. Went in today to have a look and they have so much more presence in person than pics and videos.
