Interesting..... Not the sort of Video i was expecting...... I think it is going to be very colour sensitive....! I'm specing mine up in the morning,not seen the full colour range yet but at the moment i think the Melbourne Red looks good......

Red looking much better than the awful blue.
Though Toronto isn’t the best red they’ve ever done. Much prefer Melbourne without so much orangyness.


White not too bad either. And a decent spec.

But typical BMW doing what they do best. Why no competition model from the outset? Not falling for it this time. Did that with the F87.

If it’s to push buyers to the M4 it succeeded.

If or should I say when an xDrive version comes out my interest could be renewed.

Wonder if the comp in 2024 will be AWD or they will save that for the CS. Already pushing the manual box to the extremes. Suspect auto only.

Saw one of the anoraks that lives at the Nurburgring saying on Facebook this new cars is >200kg heavier than an F87 M2 Competition, can that be right..?!

Looks much better in red but its still not a pretty car at all, the front and back look off to me sadly, great engine however which might make up for it, carbon seats also look amazing

Concerns me that the manual in this car is over 1700kg, wtf is that about? Also I know its 450bhp but thats only 10% more than the F87 M2C and its 100kg heavier. Is it really going to be much of a performance jump?

Guess there will be a load of them in red and grey then only xD

The M3/4 do not look and better in the flesh than the pictures, so I am not expecting this to improve in the flesh either. Just like the M240i does not improve in the flesh.

That's not my experience. I found the M3/4 looked so much better in the flesh. The contrast with the M240i was even greater. Considering I quite like the look of the new M2, that bodes well for when I (finally) see it!

Yes didn't realise... thought it was the same as my current M2. Anyway i've ordered mine now, Zanovoort Blue with Manual box which costs £1100 more than the Auto box....???

I'm the same too. I wasn't sure about the G82 M4 from photos, but I really liked it in the metal though(apart from it being arguably a bit too big in size). I was exactly the same about the new M240i from pictures and I found it really odd looking, yet in the metal I really liked it though.

I think that I will really like the G87 M2 as well in the metal, but I can see why many don't like it from the photos though.

The M4 perhaps isn't as bad looking as it first seemed, but I agree that it's a huge whale of a car, like a 6 or 8 series of old.
