Just reinsured mine with General Accident for £450, admittedly with full NCB but parked on road. Was with Saga last year who gave me a good deal but the renewal was not remotely competitive.

You don't say how old it is etc. Is it a new one £80k+ ?

Mate is paying £1k+ on a new M4, mine is half that but then its worth half.

Maybe worth asking a couple of them what you could do to reduce premium - i.e. getting a tracker fitted?

Add a tracker and annual payments to it and it does not work out well.
Forget trackers they are useless anyway, punt around.

I’m guessing with no ncb that’s about right, on my g82 I was with BMW for the first year and now with saga

Any option of using the ncb off your other car ?

I see you have a Porsche......if they are limited mileage you could stick both with Classicline for about £500pa each.....no ncb required...breakdown inc...trackdays inc...etc.

Maybe cancel the policy you took out if its cheaper to put both with one vendor ?

Some insurers will mirror your no claims.

A Plan did this for me on my SL a couple of years ago so might be worth a phone call.

Speak to Chris Knott and give them a call.

I was in a similar situation with 10+ years NCB and they covered me on a similar price, similar car for a reasonable amount. A bunch of others didn’t even want to know (despite NCB on my other car)

The only thing is watch out who they use as the underwriter - don’t always go with the cheapest and ask who it is, and so your research on them, I am with Highway who are part of LV and the reviews we’re reasonable. Redstar looked crap so I said find another underwriter.
