Congratulations, fabulous cars. I'd love to see Evo do a 4 way test of all the M5 generations.

Completely off topic question for W8, did you or do you have a client (or friend) in Heaton Moor? I've no idea what you do BTW but shortly before we moved there was an evil sounding RS6 used to visit my next door neighbour every month or so last year(if so you can check the M5 pic in my profile to see who it is).

Just curious as I'm sure the reg plate was similar, and I'm sure that exhaust note wasn't standard.

Not sure i've ever been to Heaton Moor. Used to drop in to see a friend in Wilmslow (on quite a big newish estate) a few times last year, but i don't think that's Heaton Moor.

Is that where Heaton Moor is??

No, dont worry mustn't have been you. Do all RS6s rumble?

Some rumble louder than others.

Mine had a full Milltek exhaust, including Sports-Cats & downpipes so it was pretty loud externally.

This thing was louder than the General Lee replica that occasionally used to park down our street. Very nice.

Huntheshunt, you are an x Nobleite like me .I waited for something special from Noble. The M15 is an ausome beast, but not refined enough for me. So went to Sytners for a demo on M5, like the engine but it missed out on styling, a fast 4 dor saloon. Did nothing for me untill the sales person said pop over to our service area alook at a black M5 just in,but as i walked through the showroom this georgous seprang bronze M6 was winking at me . done a deal straight away. now run in ,ausome . already done a Vantage, and compaired to a noble much more practible. All the extras i would have had on the M5 were there as standard plus more. luv it.

Hi Billy,

Still in the Nobility for the moment, although up for sale. Good for you on the M6 front. I think they are a bit of a steal at the moment when you look at all the extra's you get. Love the Sepang...I'm jealous. Interior?? When are you going to post pictures??

Don't forget, you need to buy my bike!!

Sepang...that's a lovely colour, almost did that myself. The other colour I reckon making a comeback is white. I've seen a white M5 which looked nice and a white Discovery, again looked good. Not sure about a white M6 though.

Is it me....I've had a few fast cars, some in theory far faster than the M6, but once that thing comes on 'cam' it really picks up speed, almost scarily so! I wonder if it's size related?? Difficult to compare to memories I know, but what do you think?

I too have seen a white M5 and it looked fabulous. It wouldn't look so good dirty though.
