Well, after much shaking of heads by us .. saying.. its an M car.. it will never make the power..

It made.. 338bhp and 270 ft/lbs..

Then the guy drove it back to the dealer hehe

342 was only 4bhp out. Do I win a prize?

Yes.. I shall tell you this.. I did a 535D at the weekend with a tuneit box.. 330bhp and 480 ft lb's of torque..

Very nice
Done an M5 yet? Rumour has it (and of course I want to believe this) that they all make more than the 501/507 bhp claim.

No one had been kind enought to pay me to do one yet hehe

So, can you get a proper figure from the CSL? A mate said he came down to you a few days back and his car was up at 376bhp after a DMS remap.

Might have to think about this once the winter tyres come back off then.

Vixpy1 - I would like to know whether the figures quoted for my 997 GT3 are anything like Porsche say they are. The car is still very young but I will bring it down to you if you say that it is 'old' enough to participate. It certainly feels very quick. I would like to see if the 'Sport' button makes any difference either.

Car only has 900 miles on it at the moment and that is not likely to increase by a huge amount any time soon.

I've still not had the chance to fiddle with a csl on the rollers, So honestly.. I don't know, I've heard conflicting reports. If your mate booked his CSL in with us last week, he forgot the appointment and I have'nt heard back from him.

We have done plently of stuff around the 1000 mile point, so it should'nt be a problem

you joking or serious? surely your estimated flywheel reading is within 1% of manufacturers figures so it shows the car is spot on - or am i missing something?

what was the rear wheel power - none of this estimated flywheel rubbish

It is indeed within one percent, in fact according to the manual its spot on.. the guy drove it back to the dealer because he only had it on an afternoon test drive hehe

Can't recall the rear wheel hp, will look it up..
