See you the 18th mate thumbup

Yep looking out for that other monster car in the North also to meet some forum members therethumbup

When you start the Hartge the engine revs a bit more and then goes to stationary...a nice sound that give's you a smile, a system just like some new Aston's have...and accelerating with windows down is music to your earsyes its like a little grizzly bear in attack modehehe

My dream car - de-badged and in black!

the funny thing is it was black metallic as it came from the BMW factory starting the live as a Z3 m coupe when Herbert Hartge bought the car(the old documents chassis-number told this and under the bonnet you can see the mattblack what they paint under the bonnet) and also was de-badged when they striped it all! and work on the body to make it stronger and painted all Titansilbermetallic the House color of Hartge...so I guess its all under the skinidea
The did a real makeover, even the complete interior, which looks original but was completely different when it left the factory from BMW..there's much more as what you think they did on this car soon some more picture details think within 3 weeks orso I make some pointed out picture's

As I discovered, 300km/h in my Hartge is "easy" to do and the car feels stable too, better then I thought...all test are done ofcorse on a German derestricted autobahn

also a little test because some asked me how fast from this to that, well the test I did 2 times are as follows

from 30km/h to >>> 160km/h in just 7.6 sec

from 30km/h to >>> 200km/h in just 12.2 sec

so both faster then I thought it could do, tested both 2 times with a rolling start from steady 30km/h then floor it.

Also today I discovered against a Dodge Viper GTS that mine was just as fast in at least a few points heavy, cause mine is also a lot lighter so power to weight just as good or a bit better then the Viper, so I'm very happy with the fast Hartge Z3 coupe 5.0

The rev counter in the V8 only goes to 7.000rpm(red after 6.500rpm) but the tacho goes to 300km/h and doing 150 at 3.000rpm and the 6.000rpm is easy to get to in 6th gear I think I could get maybe 320km/h on the tacho cause its 300km/h at 6.000rpm so a bit more to come when I really try it to the end...love ityes I mean that this car can do that and the way how it does that

@Col, maybe tomorrow(Sunday) when their is some space on the German autobahn I try to make a short video(when I visit the Ring but not going on it with my Hartge) but I can store only 1.25 sechehe its not much.
I don't have a video camera so I have to make it with that mobile thing, I try to touch 300km/u again on the speedo and a short video of that on board.
Maybe in about a month or so I have more better? film....
cheers, you got a impressive collection yourself.

Yes its the only 5.0 Hartge Z3 coupe ever made, so its one of the rarest car on the planetyes
And I love it...but won't keep it long because I also care for the car so someone else can enjoy it too,
cheers

here a short impressum from my car going from 100 to 200km/u its bad quallity because its made by mobile;

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Czj_SECqEo

And here proof that it can do 300km/u even with wind coming up front! so no backwind even then we managged 310 on the speedo in our second run, maybe we can get 320km/u(with a new bigger airfilter) on it with some backwind or no wind;

cheers

when your alone yes, but my girlfriend was with me and she made a short video with the phone, but she was not so steady.
Almost no traffic at those moments, only the big fast Mercedes CLS that was getting smaller in the mirror once over 270, guess his top was/is about 280/290km/u

I think I pass my car on in a few months because its my only car and I don't want to many km(miles) on the clock and its so rare! but I'm not fortunate enough to keep it long so when someone is really serious and do me a real good offer that I can't resist I will let it go, and keep the rest in memory, its a beautybiggrin

A little update, I finally got my engine cover plate (@ the CBR07 car-meet in Germany) that was missing see here the result, the way it left Herbert Hartge @hartge

Also finally the long awaited bigger air-filter from K&N is in, because the smaller filter was OK for lower speeds, but on the German Autobahn it worked as a restrict-or at high speeds and longer full blasts, so here the results of before en after the fittings;

This looks much cleaner end fresh and biggerbiggrin so less restrictions at high speed...go go go Hartgehehe

Here the first picture is the old before and under the changes madebiggrin

I also looked if I could open the side wings in the engine hood but that's not possible, the construction is for strength on those places...I have a lot of build up pressure at speeds over 270<>310km/h so I have to do something, I take the seal-rubbers out left, right and at the back and replace them for low rubber so there is a little gap were air also can escape, the next missionhehe

That mission is also completed nowbiggrin much better also better lookingbiggrin

Here a few nice one's of my "Hartge Z3 coupe 5.0" the one

A guy I know from a forum spotted me around the Ring in Germany(not on the Ring) and heard me coming so he ran to the street and makes this

Then about 2 weeks later @ some runs on a German Autobahn and doing 310 on the speeder he pictured me again and again trees for the car but again mystic the rare monster was seen again in a Flashhehe

Here some others making pictures of the car while doing a car-show;

Some asked me if this very rare one off Hartge is for sale...well not really but when some one giving 75.000,-euro for it it can get another home...considering that's the price a new one(standard BMW Z3 M coupe) cost in the Netherlands its a bargain for the very rare Hartge that cost ed more then 165.000,-euro new or still cost 95.000,-euro on parts and labour when you build one but that one will still be a BMW and not a Hartge...

Whats the guy saying in the clip, awesome car?

No he was so amazed with that sound he shouted G*D damn...(can't write that herehehe)
He was a employee working to help the people who visit the BMW dealer ship opening with cars and parking-area for visitors and groups, that's also why another employee who has my phone-number sms'd me to ask if I could also come the next day because at 20u they still where talking about my car and would like my car also on a next BMW opening...but I could not come because of CBR07 Germany

At last I'm going to hear and see the beastie on monday!
Can't wait!
Didn't know you had it for sale already...

Its just on sale, only for the right price, not that I would love to sell but mostly this sort of cars take a year or so to sell to the right buyer and when the price is good I can leave it and use the money for other projects...my goal is set , get my dream-car, put the first real Hartge as a brand in the Netherlands, drove for the first time in my life faster then 300km/h and its the best car I've ever had...but there are lots more to try and can't keep them but I will miss it when this one is gone but its also a responsibility to drive a one of car and I'm a thinker so...one day it will go to another enthusiast

See you and you will hear me that monday when we are there I will drive a little bit so you will hear it and maybe a little run with you to feel and hear it? see you monday.
