So, now all I need to do is find a nice, original, unmolested example at a sensible price.
Let me know if anything crops up
Obviously needs proper checking by a specialist but its very reasonably priced:Let me know if anything crops up

If you don't intend to pay £12-£15 for a good Evo 2 this is a GREAT compromise.
You wouldnt go far wrong buying Tims car for that money! £6k for his car is a steal.
Dont be fooled that a later one is any better and by getting a ltd edition will only set you back a few more grand.
An Evo2 is the car to get but to find a good one will take you a lifetime. I bought a 60k late spec 215 that was a 'good one', which took me 3 years to find, and have still spent upwards of £6k making a 'good one' and that is aswell as usual maintenance.

Agree, they are all very similar in real world performance and it took me many years trying to find the example I was looking for.Dont be fooled that a later one is any better and by getting a ltd edition will only set you back a few more grand.

Point being?
Falkster,
I think you're looking at an old page for the car?...3-4 years out of date.
The car is most definitely (or rather will be) for sale as soon as time allows me to do the text that goes with the new updated photographs. The purpose (or point) of the link to the old pics was for comparison of how the car looked previously with how it does now i.e the upper of the two links

Wow, that car's clean. The M3 always looks best in its original, unmolested, guise. These are the ones that are the best to buy. Not sure about the slightly invasive ICE, but everything elae looks A1 . Gassing Station | M Power | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
