Yes, the spec is dubious, but I'm staggered to see that you can grab one of these beauties as an AUC for under £30k!

biggrin

Still, its a bargain and a half. If I hadn't of bought my CSL, I'd be tempted by one ... can't see them falling much further/harder?

When my Z4C was sold by the dealer, they unfortunately won the closed Auction for it, they had it for sale at less than £28k.

Spec was 3.0Si Sport
Stratus Grey
Black Leather
Bluetooth
Comfort Pack
Heated Seats

Says on the ad, Vat qualifying, does that mean + vat, or inc vat price?

I think it means that if you're a company you can lease it and reclaim the VAT

Well it's definately a BMW GB car and as has been said previously it has been on the press fleet rather than a management car.

I'm sure it has been pushed hard to date, but at the end of the day it still has the balance of the warranty so it could be a very good buy. Undoubtedly it will be damn quick.

..yes, but probably had 'special' pre-delivery checks and was probably 'super-fettled'.

BTW 'VAT qualifying' means that under certain circumstances you can get the VAT BACK, not that the VAT is extra.

Yes but you can't reclaim 100% of the VAT on a car, only commercials.

You can if you are a vehicle leasing company as long as the vehicle has remained VAT qualifying since new.

I think you are missing the point mate... The Z4M Coupe does not need heated seats or SatNav with DVD... It's a driver's car... If you wanted these - get a M3... rolleyes

No mate, read the post again, the post was about how good a deal is available on that particular Z4, the fact was it was not that great, are you saying that you would be happy to accept a car that has twice the mileage, no spec and in relative terms pay more for less just because you regard these bits as not needed in a drivers car? If so you're a lunatic, having decided on the Z4MC I personally couldn't care if it was pink, its all about the deal for me and whether it has heated seats or not is immaterial if the deal is right, and that means getting the best spec/lowest mileage/lowest cost to change most RV strong car available, some would call this prudent
