Think they didn't make a saloon of the E46 M3.

You can get a hardtop after you purchase a vert, expect to pay circa £800 or more if it the same colour already.

I assume you are talink about the Coupe rather than the Saloon as there never was an E46 M3 Saloon.

I've got a convertible, boots space is not too bad when the roof is up but when it's down theres not much space!

The E46 Convertible does rattle a bit, if you can put up with that and the slightly spongier chasis then its a great choice. Many can't, the compensation is that you get the scream of that V6 with no windows or roof in the way.

Are they that much softer & why the rattles, is that the mechinism or something? Can you get 3 seat belts in back as i have young kids (small) it would only be for short journeys?

Is it only boot space you lose with it, not rear seat/leg room?

They rattle more like all 'hack saw' job convertibles, all down the loss of rigidity

They (Convertibles) are only 4 seaters so only 2 rear belts....... NOTE on the coupe not all cars have a 3rd Belt (This was an option) so when looking please check!
