I have recently just put a set of CSL 19" Wheels and tyres on my M3.

I have set the pressures as indicated to 33 front 34 rear, I have checked the tyre pressure for the past 3 days when the car is cold and the pressures are 33/34 but I still keep getting a redwarning light on the dash after about 10-15 seconds on the move. Can anyone help ? Is it because I have changed the wheels? Do I have a slow puncture or is the sensor playing up ? I dont think its the last one as I have had both the standard 18" and some rubbish replica 19" on in the last week.

Help I am confused.

The tyre pressure warning system is based on the rpm of the wheel. You have changed your wheels and tyres so it will have a different rpm for a set speed than before. You need to reset the system. It should tell you how to do it in your owners manual.

Have just tried this as listed on anothr forum

Had this myself recently on my new E46 M3. Tyres looked OK on inspection but with such low profiles it's hard to tell!

Took it to a petrol garage to check the pressures and found the N/S rear was very very low!

After topping up the air, I faffed around trying to work-out the reset procedure from the manual....I eventually got it...

After changing a tyre or putting in some air...

1. Turn ignition to 2 (all lights, air con etc comes on)
2. Hold down Tyre Pressure Sensor button until red light goes out, then release the button
3. Press button again until yellow light comes on. This will then go out again after a few seconds and should stay off.
4. Drive for a few miles to allow the tyre pressure sensors in the valve to adjust to the new pressure(s)

That should be it, the warning light should stay off.

Number 3 the yellow light does not go out any ideas ?
