Not me. I live in Oxfordshire, and have a white E92 and drive like a cretin at times, true...biggrin

But on Sunday I was walking the Dog in the rain round Avebury Ring at the time, and used the old 535D estate. I was also wearing a blue shirt.

Bacters!

Always wonder about posts like this. Don't we ALL see LOADS of stupid driving virtually every day. What's the point in commenting on it here where we're all Driving Gods? And now I've gone and commented on a pointless thread - doh!
There's always a chance that this particular Driving God might be on P/Heads and realise that the days of anonymity are over.

Plenty of d*ckheads have been owned on the web.

SS7, you sound like a right sanctimonious bore. Zip it, will yer?

Shoestring drives a 968 Clubsport - what do you expect?? We all know how they never move over to let faster traffic through on trackdays.............whistle
Ahh, Porker gets beaten by a BMW and now porker driver is pee'd off.

I reckon it was a 320d Coupe.....

hehe
Yeah right, the 320d with a c/f roof. Fool.

As it happens I'm not in the habit of taking the family in a 968 ClubSport, as Mrs SS7 doesn't like the idea of the younger SS7's travelling in the back without seats. If its relevant at all, we were in the family shed: a E39 520i Touring.

As for the traffic, there were three lanes of pretty much nose to tail traffic doing 65-75mpg in poor weather and visibility, with occiasional 2-300m gaps in lane 1. I don't know what roads you lot use, but this one was at maximum capacity and anyone with any sense was leaving a decent gap and watching for the tell-tale signs of trouble ahead.

That is apart from your hero in his M3.

SS7
Ooops

Sense of humour bypass?

btw - That will of done your carbon footprint a world of good hehe

I'm sure I saw him on the M42 a couple of weeks ago, some of the most aggressive and downright dangerous driving I've seen in a long time.
Hmmmm, that one is possibly me...biggrin

This really is a stupid thread: ranting at a guy who's never going to read it!

bit of a stupid route to take!

i have recently taken to driving straight up the hard shoulder during sessions of queuing on the M40. Cannot see how anybody can complain as even the government are considering turning them into traffic lanes.

You're asking for trouble doing that, I guarantee when you get your way ahead blocked you'll never get back onto the main carriageway. Only on the M42 where there's active traffic management with cameras, signage and areas where it's not appropriate.

Meanwhile, however, if seen by a policeman I think you are extremely likely to get a ticket.

pmsl at this thread. If he could undertake then the tts in the other lanes were in the wrong. I often do it and will continue to do so, and nowadays sitting on peoples arses with full beam on is the only way to make the cretins realise you are there and wish to drive faster than them wink

Still, not as bad as the woman in the Merc I saw the other week reversing down the hard shoulder (forget which motorway), as just beyond the junction we'd all passed the traffic wasn't moving. Admired her balls, but didn't dare myself.

To respond to other threads on this post, I have no problem with undertaking per se, I do it myself, but any move that causes other traffic to take avoiding/evasive action shouldn't be encouraged should it?
