Going to look at an M5 in Interlagos later and wondered what people's thoughts were - is it a bit lairy? Normally like M cars, RS audis etc to be in subtle shades...

On this topic what do people think is the best M car colour?

Depends on the era and style of the car. I do love the exclusive colours: E36 looks gorgeous in techno violet (though Boston Green is incredibly elegant) and the E46 is amazing in Mora. I saw one at the Supercar Day at Gaydon and loved it so much I bought an Alpina in the same scheme: Mora with champagne nappa leather piped purple. God, its so beautiful (ok, I may be a little sad about colours).

What colour is Mora? Any pics?

I agree with the era comment, I think each M car has a good colour....E36 looked great in Estoril or Dakar, E46 was great in Laguna Seca (just my opinion! smile), E34 M5 was nice is Techno Violet, E39 M5 was Silverston for me, while I'd say the current M5 and M3 both look awesome in white, IMO.

Personally, I love Silverstone II (I had an E39 M5 in Siversone, and LOVED it!). However, my Bro says hs hates it and raves about the grey. poersonal choice, again.

Thorny.

Get one.

Then fit Miltec exhausts and pretend you've got an F1 car.

and I'll be wanting a shot in it too.

You can't argue with the statistics: silver, grey and black are the most popular (and best) colours.

They're not standard colours, but you could probably get them on the individual scheme, although you'd likely pay through the nose for it.

I'll probably get shot down for this, but I like the Indianapolis Red, I saw one the other day polished up and thought it looked really good. It's also a bit different from the usual blacks, greys and silvers.
