92 M3 rear muffler weight...

Meantime i'm waiting my new M3 i'm already trying to buy a new better flowing rear muffler, i've contacted Eisenmann, this is what they've got:

What surprises me is the weight of their rear muffler: aprox 20 kgs!
What's the weight of the stock muffler then? 50 kgs?? As an aftermarket muffler should always be much lighter then a stock one...

By the way, I've been told Eisenmann builds top notch sistems for M3's, is that right?

I'd imagine they're going for an improvement in noise, not necessarily weight

I changed my standard cat back section for a scorpion job. You can lift the scorpion box easily with one had but the standard unit is a definate two arms job. Must weigh 3 times as much at least. The difference is huge
