Don't think you'll find the 3.0 as good on fuel as it doesn't have the 6th gear (but might be wrong)
I get a average of 24-25 on the lanes on the way to work and have seen 32 on the motorway or slow constant moving A roads.
I'd agree with that. Evo pootles along in 6th at 70 and well over 30mpg all day long.I get a average of 24-25 on the lanes on the way to work and have seen 32 on the motorway or slow constant moving A roads.
And run then on higher octane only. More expensive but you get better performance AND economy.
Had my 3.2 Evo (therefore 6 speed) almost two weeks now. Done around 400 miles and averaging 28mpg (computer) with no town driving, all A road or motorway. I did get a steady 34mpg sitting at 75mph on the 200 drive home after picking it up.. Not bad in my books

How can you drive at steady 75mph??? I must have big feet as always stray towards the 0.9 leptons mark Edited by gwatson on Tuesday 1st April 20:30
On a serious note I seem to average 25mpg in London and Motorway driving in my Z4M Coupe. Last weekend did 110 miles in 52 mins on the way back to the ferry in France and achieved 16mpg :P
