My 335D was DMS remapped to 340 bhp and 525 lbft and I put a 320D badge on the back, so I did the opposite.
Oh, the fun I had with the hot hatch boys and I astonished a few Civic Type R and the like pilots!
I've got a 140bhp Saxo that will leave a Civic Type R
Well done you!

If you look at the Abingdon sprint results from this year, it seems that I have a 120bhp (when new in 2001) Saxo that will also leave a Civic Type R. I don't know if you compete, but maybe you should consider it.

I saw a 318d last night badged as a M3. How do I know it was a 318d? Because in the correct spot it had the 318d badge then a M3 badge on the left hand side of the boot lid...

And even better, he tried to race a de-badged RS3 down a slip road.

I believe I've scored the perfect 'double-whammy':

1. Spotted the absolutely mighty M320d Convertible (with added huge M wheels and teeny tiny brakes)
2. Managed to get my genuine M HUD in the shot wink

I must admit, seeing M badges on non BMW's is a new one on me. I simply don't get why you would? At least on lesser BMW models it could be seen as aspiring to an M car? Mind you, the Prius did make me smile.

Nuts! Should have flipped it into the Rev-counter mode. Or do basic BMWs have that too these days? (Grumble grumble)

although, to be fair mine isn't a proper "///M" car - it did come from the BMW factory like this.. look - it even has ///M badges on the wings and brakes!! LOL!

and engine:

and steering wheel, scuff plates, dashboard and about 100 other places!! IMO BMW are as guilty of this as anyone else!.. Although, I think my F20 pre LCI 116D Sport had more M Badges now that I think of it!! LOL! smile
